3800/4500 sold. Looking like it won't make general sale again, sane as Preston. Imagine if we were good.
-
Looks like there are about 40 tickets left..hundreds sold today.
-
There could be a further allocation as rows A-F haven't been sold.
-
9 Bournemouth Lions making the trip. It will be interesting to see what the team looks like by then.

Should be going to this with a mate who lives in Newton-Le-Willows so will have to sit in the empty seats in the home end.
I presume this will be pay on the day unless Wigan are worried about some Villa ending up in the home end and making it all ticket? Anyone know as their website isn't clear really.

Long time ago I know but I went to the December 2007 game there with no ticket. I bought one on the day but it required my addresss and postcode and they were not keen on selling to Brummies - they asked if I was a Villa fan. I avoided the question, said I had been visiting my girlfriend in Wilmslow and wanted to see the game. It helped that I could give my London address.
I assume if you use your mate’s address in Newton le Willows you will be fine- and let him do the talking!
I had to join Reading as a (free) member to get a ticket that season too. We won both games 2-1 so maybe I should spend more time behind enemy lines.

Ah interesting, just thought they might have a cash turnstile available although guess that's changed since they moved up to the championship and get bigger away followings.
Might just get a ticket online or something to save the bother.

There going to have to Ads because it's sold out!!

Got a nw post code if of any use

Unsurprisingly my inability to plan my life far enough in advance means I've missed out on a ticket for this. If anyone comes across a spare, let me know.

What's the logic in not selling the first 6 rows ?
Two tickets left according to the site
-
Sold Out.
Stupid that you used to get 5400 or something in that end and now they've cut it to 4500. Can see quite a few Villa going in the home ends.

Some clubs sell this way. All clubs keep at least one if not 2 rows clear at the front. However, some sell in blocks, keeping the front few rows back. If all the blocks sell out, they then release the front rows for sale.

Stop a pitch invasion/surge if we score at that end perhaps?

I’ve heard that it’s due to a risk of overcrowding beneath the stand if it’s full to absolute capacity. In other words the concourse space isn’t big enough to cope with the number of people in the stand above.

Let’s hope they don’t apply those rules to the Witton Lane and North Stand then

Or the upper tier of the Leppings Lane end at Sheff Wed.

The concourses at the Sty must be tiny.

The Stripeys are worse.

I have a spare if anyone is looking for one.
Now sold.

The Dingles must have suddenly improved the size of theirs.
I did like hearing that Delusional FC had 30,500 (or an attendance we'd surpass on a bad day with ease at pretty much any point in the past 70 years) against Liverpool. Their biggest attendance since 1980. Which was against us.

Would appreciate a PM if anyone has a spare for this. Many thanks.
-
Also after a spare. Cheers

I'm not doubting you at all,but the question that occurs to me is; why out seats there if you're not going to sell tickets for them?
