I have it on good authority that Xia is pronounced Tsee-er rather than Zee-er.

I have always thought it was pronounced as 'Jia'. Which is probably appropriate seeing as it is so close to 'jeer'.

Not sure how long it will be before I can say that about Mr Bruce

It would be nice if he is told Rotherham game is his last match so that he can send the team out with shackles off....or  or we may see both Jedinak and Whelan in  midfield the wait goes on.

It’s pronounced like Shah. Closest equivalent in English I can think of is like a scouser saying sharp without the p.

Is the correct answer. Had a lot of Xia's in my classes in Shanghai. Hope you're well, mate!

Never mind losing the dressing room or the away crowd, once you've lost Dave, it's time to clear your desk... that's not being sycophantic, I tend to view Dave as the voice of calm when my inner child is raging 'sack the fucker'.

My first thought when I reached the end of the first para.
