So after what could be generously described as missed opportunities with 2W and 3D in August it’s time for Bruce to up the ante and start getting some serious points on the board in September.
Sheffield United - A
Blackburn Rovers - A
Rotherham United - H
Sheffield Wednesday - H
Bristol City - A
3 tough away games and you’d like to think 2 home bankers. I’m expecting 3 wins, a draw and our first league defeat, which would be ok but enough for top 2?
-
Win Saturday and draw at Blackburn, win at home to Rotherham.

DLW
In the following games after that, I predict a win against Sheffield Wednesday and a draw against Bristol City.
Depressingly, I still expect Bruce to be here come the end of September.

You need a minimum of 9 points out of every 15. Which will put you on 81 points if you keep this up all season. A couple of extra wins added to that average will get you automatic.
-
You'd have to be looking at 11 points from those fixtures to go up automatically. Realistically under that fat sack of Kebabs I'd see something more like 7/8 points.

Two home bankers? Let's face it, nothing's a banker with us under "him". See Reading at home "nailed on 3 points" & "playing an hour vs 10 man Ipswich" & "an easy tie vs Burton that we ought to win"

Which is why I said “you’d like to think”, though with this Manager, who knows.

Anything less than 10 points from that lot & with the squad he’s got at his disposal & he should be fired.

I think he passed the should have been fired point a long time ago.
It’s now about hoping for damage limitation.
-
We will get minimum of 7 and maximum of 10 points from the September games.
Bruce hasn't and isn't good enough
-
Regardless of whether Bruce is still here or not i'm going positive
Sheffield United - A (Draw)
Blackburn Rovers - A (Win)
Rotherham United - H (Win)
Sheffield Wednesday - H (Win)
Bristol City - A (Win)
Fuck it. UTV

Can somebody add the apostrophe please? It's more annoying than a Bruce team sheet.
