Fucking Jedinak at centre-half. He won't learn, will he?

He needs to play on this occasion. To deal with AERIAL  threat of Dadi Bodvarsson .

Elmo as an attacking player at home to reading is so unnecessary.

Rather have Green or Adomah.
Very loyal to Elmo but he not the one to be starting this match

Is El Ghazi typically wide right or wide left?

I thought wide right, but with Elmo in the side, I assume he will play wide left (in which case do we have another player out of position!).

Not necessarily popular on here, but Whelan has been good this season and was again the other night - tough on him missing out. I think there Bjarnason could be a good player but he doesn't show it often enough for me.

His selection only works if it signals that he will get a proper run of games, if not, then the inconsistent (sometimes anonymous) performances will continue. UTV

Elmo at RW and Axel at RB is two wasted position, both offer very little going forward. Would rather see an out of form Albert play right.

Disagree that Axel doesn’t offer anything going forward.

He's Jedinak. Miles Jedinak
I just don't think you understand
He's not a centre back
We've better for the back
?????????

I'll try finishing the rest during our bad half unless somebody cares to finish it for me.

Come on you Villa boys! 5-0 today.

We need to start fast and show the same level of intensity as Wednesday night, These are the type of games we have to win comfortably to start building some confidence. For once I would like to see some nice interchanges through the center of the pitch playing off the Kodj. We have the players in Jack and McGinn to do this.

4-1 with another screw up at the back for their goal.

That is his fifth of the season. I think the Championship is his level. Arguably a Premier League back up/squad player.

Crap customer service too.

They took £6 off me last week, and I didn't even use the service.

I wrote to them and asked why. It took until today for them to reply, only to tell me that 'someone else must have bought it using my card, obviously'.

I laughed at their use of 'obviously'.

Thank you for your help, fuckers.

Usual Villa, one game we played well, now back to dross again. Wake them up Bruce, kick their backsides at half time and speed up their attacking, far to slow so far to break their defence down.

Far too slow in moving the ball. You see what a quality passer like Whelan can do to the tempo, as Thor, ok defensively, cannot pass water.

Hutton has been atrocious, Elmo just as bad. The midfield is too deep and it's been far, far too lacklustre.

Very poor.

Start was decent enough, but lacking a goal. As the half progressed Reading got back into it and our intensity seemed to drop off. It doesn't help that BB and Jedi give the ball away in dangerous places. Jack doesn't seem to be his usual self either.

AVTV is crap, didn't work on Brave, but was ok on Firefox.

Seems a big crowd again. Probably a little less than 34k asbtheres one or two spares and of course the upper away end is as full as the Tilton and the lower a little more populated than the Kop, but a good crowd.

Bruce will be delighted at that. Bit of quality in the second half and we can nick it.

One paces with zero movement off the ball. No one in the back 4 can pass out so we just pass it along before a hopeful punt in the channel to Kodjia.  He may hold it up, but if he does no one has bothered to make a run and give an option.

Atrocious.

It looked like a stupid challenge to make.

Chester looked like a snail, pace-wise

He was heading for the touchline. Going nowhere.

That spell midway through the second half was where the game should have been put to bed. Bad decisions in the last third and not clinical enough. 3 points from 9.

Never a penalty and I couldn't see it thanks to AVTV !

Commentary came on just as the match finished too.

Rubbish all round

Four points off the top two.  Could’ve been two.  Two winnable home games two points where have we heard this before?
