What’s people’s opinion? I personally am not a big fan. When you have to manufacture something at football rather than do something spontaneously like the balloons it doesn’t work for me
-
Nor with me. Fake passion.
-
It's a big no from me, but I do admire their commitment to making it happen, and I hope they get their stolen flags returned.
-
Each to their own,if they want to have fun then crack on so long as nobody brings a drum or a trumpet then they can do one.
-
I don't see a problem with it. Keith Wyness said on WM there will be NO DRUMS at VP so that'll do for me.
-
I think they are great. I enjoy looking at the colourful flags being waved when the team comes out.
I personally see no harm with manufacturing a bit of flag waving.
-
Are these the guys in the lower North?
-
I've no idea what this is
Link?
-
Project B6 is a group who make the flags that are waved in the Lower North.

Is it a new name for Brigada or somebody else? I don't mind anyone attempting to enjoy themselves and add to the atmosphere so long as they don't do anything stupid like bring a drum.
-
From the Holte, I think it looks good, well done, shame that Villa fans have pinched some of the flags, very sad
-
I don't have a problem with them at all
-
Didn't mind when Brigada tried to get something going in the lower Holte a few seasons back so no issue with these guys.
The crux of it is football grounds and the fanbase have changed. Can't just go back to the 70-80s just like that.
-
If supporters are doing it naturally, it's not manufactured.

I think it's the same people who ran that 'Get the Holte End Back' campaign a couple of seasons ago.
-
What happened to Brigada? It wasn’t my cup of tea but it was good to see lads trying.
-
Anybody anywhere in the ground trying to raise the passion/ support/ club identity is fine with me👍
-
Looks like a perfectly good way to channel your passion for the club to me. They seem to be designing and selling some pretty nice original fan merchandise as well - I would be happy with one of those phone cases.

Where had it gone ? It's always been there when I look to my right

Weren't the club at odds with them for some reason? Shame as I thought it was a great idea.
-
In view of recent results drums, bugles, french horns, trumpets and large flags depicting BoJo provoking a sore Bear with a hypersonic missile might wake us up a bit.
-
My son, who is a season ticket holder along with me in the Lower Holte, created most of the designs and logos for the flags in the Lower North and merchandise that Project B6 sells, (which is not sold for monetary gain, but purely for reinvestment into making more flags). They have worked very hard to try and bring a little atmosphere, albeit for a relatively brief time, whilst the players come out before the game. They are not "Brigada Mk 2". Ideally, they would have loved to have covered the Holte with flags and banners, but it's just too big an area, hence the reason it's concentrated in the Lower North, close to the away fans. They had a few issues with flags being nicked in the early stages, but once the regulars in the Lower North were made aware that the flags were not to be taken, then the flags were returned and things were stabilised. I guess I'm not entirely surprised that some of the Project B6 flags disappeared when the club gave out the "Part of the Pride" flags - I suppose some people thought that they were fair game to be taken home as well, unfortunately.
-
Oh, and I'm reliably informed that there will NEVER be any drums or trumpets initiated by Project B6!
-
They also did the Graham Taylor and Ugo banners:

It's all fun and games until you're sat behind them and can't see a bloody thing.

Good point. I would be frothing at the mouth if I had had to pay good money to stare at a flag.

For the 5 minutes before the games kicks off? The flags have to be put away under the seats when the game starts.
-
I did use 'would' and 'if'. I am reassured that I would not need to froth.

The intention is to try and inject a little colour and atmosphere pre-game, but to keep the propensity for frothage to an absolute minimum.

Frottage on the Northern Line and frothage in the Witton End Lower are both to be denigrated.

Then, they're alright by me. 😊

Indeed - neither practice is big or clever.

Fair play to 'em for bringing added colour & noise to games. My only concern is that they all start wearing black & aping the Always Ultras at Palarse... :o

The ultra thing will never happen with Project B6.

(I hope the pic shows up! Just spotted the deliberate speeling mistake - gah! I'll have to inform Conor to fix it.)
-
I like your handle. Its more a mystery than a name. I am left thinking, "I wonder what at?".
Good work any, looks good. Be even better once the North is redeveloped and you can tower above the away end.

Cheers Ads. I can't claim any credit - it's Andy, my son Conor and the other volunteers who put the flags out and collect them back in again for each game that have done all the hard work.

In that case, I wish them well. ;)
