2-0 Villa.

I demand a win. Flying in from Tokyo for this and taking my wife to her first Villa match.
4-1 to us.

2-0 home win

Have my worries about this one, teams that try and move the ball at pace attacking always seem to cause us trouble, hopefully Sheff Utd are still 3/4 first team regulars down and we can capitalise on their lack of squad depth & grind out a result.
Would love him to shake up the team a little, leave out one or both of his defensive wingers (or have them as wingers on the correct foot!), play Davis & Hogan up top with Jack in behind....obv he won’t change it but it’s wishful thinking
-
1-1 as we manage to scrape one back at the end of the first half after going 1 down after 10 minutes. A valiant effort as our goal is besieged for 48 minutes and we win a point.
-
need to get back to winning ways here with their poor form. Hopefully Nick a 1-0 win
-
0-0
-
Their form is rank and they're being found out now theyve lost a few first team regulars. They played boom or bust football anyway and its been bust of late.
I'd play 442 given their system.
-
1-1
-
Who will score for us?
-
1-0. Shit, cagey game. The goal to come from a set piece.
-
Unfortunately won't be attending (1st home game missed in a while). Hoping for a Villa win any which way we can get it to at least keep us in the play off positions. Come on Villa boys! UTV
-
Has to be a win. If not, then Bruce is in for an uncomfortable christmas. 2-0
-
I reckon we will win this 2-0.
-
A win, an ugly win but a win.
-
Just the occasion for us to step up and get Sheffield Utd’s season back on track.
0-2.
-
1-0 Jack to get the winner
-
Under the lights, just before Christmas, a big crowd. We'll do 'em 2-1 Villa.
-
2-1
Win yeh ******!
-
We will play with a slow tempo with the ball going sideways and back more than forwards ...
We will go one up from a set piece just before half time and we will think we will go onto to win by 2 or 3
They will then have the half time team talk and ........
We will sit deeper and deeper because we concede to make it 1-1
No energy then from the team and the subs will baffle us
We will hang on for a nervous 1-1 and the after match interview could be pulled from many previous ones
I hope im proved wrong but somehow I doubt it Bruce has no tactical awareness
-
1-0 Jack to get the winner
It's what he's made for.
-
3-0 Villa.
New Coach bounce.
-
3-1 The Bells are ringing!
-
I'm taking my kids to their first ever (proper) game. I may have something in my eye approaching the ground.
Villa to win 2-1

Fingers x for you.
Hope you all enjoy the day.

Villa to win 2-1
That's fantastic. I still (vaguley) remember my first game. Hope you all enjoy it.

Villa to scrape home 2-1

Is Davis fit?
-
Is Davis fit?
He's not bad I guess.
-
When I was a mere lad we always seemed to lose 1-0 to this lot with Doc Pace scoring.
On that basis 2-0 to us.
-
Pretty important game really. Would love to snap out of our mini bad patch. Also it would be nice for Villa to do well over Christmas for a change. I think I am the only one who rather liked the false 9 from the Derby game, but regardless Hogan & Grealish to start would be nice.
-
Not lost to them at home since 1966.
-
Take any kind of win right now.
-
A loss and other results go against us and we could drop several places out of the play offs, this is a massive game for Bruce.
He'll approach it that way 1-1.
-
Every game is a massive game for Bruce, that's how unreliable he is. No vision. No future. The clock is ticking.
-
M o r e confident now that the Agnew has landed.
-
Slightly off topic but just seen Fairy Tale of New St. by Ire-ish on Facebook. We must get it on the big screens this evening if only for the line ...and BCFC have lost another game... Don't miss it.
-
Upper Trinity is partly open for this one so we should see a decent crowd.
-
We really need a win today, and that means scoring at least a couple of goals because I don't think we'll stop them scoring.
-
Even though we have Davis, Hogan and Gabby available, i'd really like to see him give the Russian an hour or so. I've got a sneaky feeling he will start Grealish and Hogan though
-
Only realised this is a late kickoff when I checked the team news yesterday.
Not confident, although they haven’t beaten us at Villa Park since 1966 in a League game apparently. Hopefully start the game better than we did against Wednesday.
-
3-0 Agbonlahor Young and Berger with lots of Bright Future scarves sold outside
-
I'm very pleased to learn that young Keinan is available again. Surely Bruce will have him in the starting 11; and it would be nice to see Hogan joining him up top in a bid to cause problems for their back four. Hopefully Jack will have earned a start after his display at Derby - and gives us the nous & attacking intent that's been seriously lacking since god-knows-when.
Thus, I predict SB to oversee a trademark, unambitious, 4-1-4-1: resulting in a dire 1-1 to raise the Crimbo spirits. Not.
-
Must win I think in this one will set the tone for the rest of the xmas fixtures.
Lose this and we will be dropping out of the play off zone in next 10 days. Draw isn't much use either.
2-0 win and a reasonably convincing performance.

Just noticed that for those of us relying on Channel 5 for highlights will have to wait until 11:45 as it has been replaced in the schedule at 9 by Jane MacDonald on a cruise ship. WTF?

Followed by Chas & Dave's Xmas Knees Up at 22.50.
Leave it out ! It's Ossies dream and Spurz are on their way to Wembley. I'm already going Christmas Loopy ! Rabbit ! Rabbit ! Rabbit ! Gertcha !
-
FFS I was planning on having a few drinks after the game, but there's no way I'm missing Jane McDonald's Christmas Cruise.
-
A 2 goal margin, prob 2-0, but I'll take 3-1
UTV
-
I think I'd prefer to see the Chas and Dave Christmas knees up than our highlights and I've seen it before !! Worth watching to see how hammered the audience get.

I was gonna say 'Ain't No Pleasing You', but you seem 'keen as mustard TBF. Wallop!

Pivotal game this one. Meeting these at the right time so have to win really. I'd give Hogan another chance up top, think it might take the pressure off Davis to be coming on instead. Bruce has to be a lot braver in his team selection, Snodgrass for one needs the bench.

I want beer in the sideboard! Stuck at the airport, should have stayed put in Brum for the match.
