Veritably smoking, in fact.

We should ban all talk of turning corners until we've put together at least six wins on the spin

Another good article Dave. Give Hogan some service and he will score for fun.
I'm sure we will take the competition a bit more seriously if we get through the next round.

Haven't attendances always been low at this stage of the league cup? I've just looked up the attendance for the 1994 home game against Wigan to compare. Same round (albeit over 2 legs), same opponents. With the added attraction of seeing the new Pele. Attendance: 12,433

Spot on Dave as usual it will do Scott Hogan's confidence the world of good scoring those two goals.

Agreed. It's looking promising, but need a run of good performances, preferably wins, but at least more intent to play attractive attacking football for fans to feel more confident these last two games were the start of things to come.
Bristol on Friday could be a tougher task than Norwich and Wigan.

236 was given as the official away crowd - don't know how the turnstiles coped with the unexpected late rush :)

As the attendance was only just over 18,000 (with the masses from Wigan, corporate and walk-ups) I guess that our season ticket sales must be only around 17,000?

I don't think they included season ticket holders who didn't turn up in the attendance last night. Round me I'd say no more than 20% of season ticket holders were there and looking around the stadium 18,000 sounded about right based on bums on seats.

I could not make it last night and neither did some of the lads that sit next to me that have season tickets...about 10 I reckon said they were not going...
