There's three ways to do things, the right way, the wrong way and the Max Power way.

Crumbs.  I'm not bothered by the cup this season, league is FAR more important, but hope this isn't seen as completely chucking the towel in.

I worked a night shift last night as I will tomorrow and the next. I nearly travelled 200 miles to watch this on my night off. I'm so glad I didn't.

£15 for a ticket, on top of petrol, etc., is a lot of money to watch the kids + reserves.

I hope we go through and the 'fresh' players beat Bristol City on Friday. But this has all the hallmarks of a lower level CSKA>Stoke City debacle.

Come on kids. Prove me wrong, please.

Happy to see those changes, aside from Gardner but maybe he can score from a free kick before he is subbed at half time.

Not exactly a massive endorsement for Richards given he can't even make the squad for this one unless he's got a move or (more likely) injured again.

Just checked Wigan's line-up from Saturday - They've also made 11 changes. Friday night's game more important and we ain't gonna win this Cup in my opinion, so I'm in favour of giving the kids a go and putting certain players in the ship window hopefully. Anyone know if McCormack's made it over the fence to the dressing room ?

I'm pleased that Wigan have done that. If they had taken this serious it could have been embarrassing. If we're still capable of being embarrassed, that is.

We've all been critical of Bruce to some degree, me very much so recently. I wanted him gone based on what he has done to date heading into Norwich, but if he has found some sort of formula then good for him and all of us. Take stock of who we are playing, and we will have a tougher game on Friday but encouraging so far tonight.

It certainly sounds like SB's brave selection have done him (& us) proud - judging by the commentary & the scoreline. What really pleases me is that although we conceded the trademark sloppy goal (yet again) after being in complete control, we went straight down the park & stuck another one in the onion bag. What the Hell's going on?!

O'Hare is the best player on the pitch tonight. Barny is the worst. O'Hare great number 10 marshalling the 10 yard space outside their box and linking play however badly misjudged the pass to Hogan that would have made it 4-1. Doyle-Hayes struggling wouldn't be surprised if he pulls him off no sniggers at HT. Like to see Sulliman come on for Elephick in the second half. Overall good game.

Excellent ! Now what are we going to talk about for the next 7 hours while waiting up for the 3rd round draw ?
  31 hours?

Really ? Well if we are true supporters and want to take the competition seriously we stay up for two nights.

Who will be the starting eleven on Friday, or, do I celebrate with a Chinese or an Indian.

So this away team tactic of making us attack the Holte in the first half is working out well isn't it?

Hutton, Bruce said he picks himself, which is the only plausible reason for him being in the team all the time.

Bruce has been visited by the ghost of Kevin Keegan.

I hope he keeps him. Because its bloody nice.

I would love it if we could keep him...

Steve Bruce being lined up by Brut and Green Cross code adverts.

Before getting beaten up on an extended holiday in Spain.

Keegan said 'They didn't know who I was'. Probably a good job if that was the case

Wasn't it in a layby on the M4?

Or Belgrade Airport perhaps?

Reigate Hill?
