It is on the official site.  It is due to the delay in Watford's pitch renovations.

FROM PRAVDA

Aston Villa Football Club will now host the Graham Taylor OBE tribute match on Saturday July 29.

The game has been switched due to delays with Watford’s pitch renovation schedule.

Relevant match details, such as ticket prices and sales arrangements for the 3pm kick-off, will be confirmed soon.

Profits from the Graham Taylor OBE Tribute Matchday will be shared between the Taylor family’s nominated charities; Staffordshire-based National Memorial Arboretum and Watford’s Community Sports & Education Trust, as well as the AV Former Players’ Club and the Aston Villa Foundation.

Please be aware, tickets won't be on sale until week commencing July 10.

Would rather have added a ground, but it saves me some money I guess. Hopefully you can buy on the door. Worried about the crowd given the short notice.

I'm just made up I resisted the  temptation - wasn't going as train tickets from everywhere in the NW were just too expensive.  Have now just bought mine to Aston - oh well.

Hi Alex

Sorry for the extremely tardy response re Blackburn !!!!!
I've not been well of late and am just starting to pick up
Do you always go to the game by train?
Me and VCTM jnr no longer have season tickets so our visits to Brum are less frequent however when we do go down you are welcome to tag along if you like
If you live in the Merseyside Bootle rather than the Cumbria one I could pick you up on the way to the M57
Cheers
VCTM (Clive)

I just checked my email regarding Shrewsbury train tickets and noticed that it says "these tickets are refundable".

I don't know if you've checked already, but if you bought your tickets online it might be worth making sure you can't get the money back?
