Seems such an easy one Hutton then I suddenly remember Chester and thinks perhaps.
-
JK.
-
1. Kodjia
2. Chester
Nobody else really merits a mention tbh. Another dismal year.
-
Kodjia by an absolute mile. The difference between being a tedious midtable club and a tedious club that would've still being battling relegation with a few games to go.
Baker and Chester have also been good.
Green for Young Player of the Year.
-
1 Kodjia
2 Chester
3 Jedinak
Young player would be Green
Biggest disappointment would be Grealish
Biggest waste of money is McCormack
Bomb squad would be Bacuna, Richards, Agbonlahor and Gardner.
-
Chester.
-
1. Kodjia
2.Chester
3.Hutton.
4. The only one who has shown some genuine pace this season. That guy who gave everyone the run around before being brought down for a definite pen against the noses.
-
Kodjia
Chester
Adomah
Baker
The rest
-
In alphabetical order;
Chester. The new Stuart Gray. I wasn't expecting much, but he's been indispensable.
Kodjia. To score that number of goals, given what's behind him, has taken some doing.
Defender's union, I'm giving it to Chester.
-
Kodia.
Young player? None of them really. green's had, what, 5 games?
-
Kodjia, Jedinak and Chester. Not a fan of Hutton but it's been his best season since he's been here and I think Taylor has looked decent in his short time here as well.
-
1. Kodja
2. Chester
3. Hutton.
4. Baker
5. Jedinak
-
Should be Kodjia but he's not much of a team player and seems a bit soft on the physical side when things arent going his way which is frustrating given how capable he is of shrugging-off defenders when he's going for goal.
Chester then because he's been consistent and I think he gives more of a fuck than most of the others.
-
Kodjia
Chester
Jedinak
Hutton
-
Young player... Not much to choose from. Green didn't play enough games, Grealish impressed only in fits a s starts. Leaves Gollini, I guess. Didn't let many in.
-
1. Chester
2. Kodjia
3. Hutton.
4. Baker
5. Jedinak
-
JK, then Chester, Hutton & Baker. Not much from the rest!
-
Gabby.
-
1 Kodjia
2 Chester
3 Jedinak
Young player would be Green
Biggest disappointment would be Grealish
Biggest waste of money is McCormack
Bomb squad would be Bacuna, Richards, Agbonlahor and Gardner.
Gets a Yep from me.
-
1. Chester
2. Kodjia
3. Hutton.
4. Baker
5. Jedinak
I would go along with this.
6 and below just get the middle finger.
-
Hutton as alternative facts suggest.
-
Kodj for the goals, Chester has been Ok, Baker not the embarrassment I thought he'd be. Jedinak Ok in spurts, Adomah a few assists.
All in all, diabolical season.
-
Kodjia. Where would we be without his goals?
-
hutton chester or kodjia
-
Kodjia. Where would we be without his goals?
Which promoted my vote.
-
Chester. Captain. Class. Courage.
-
Does anyone seriously give a fuck?
-
Chester.
Although, without Kodjia's goals we'd be in League 1 by now. So him I guess!
-
In order.....
Kod
Chester
Beckenbaker
McCafu
Jedi
-
Does anyone seriously give a fuck?
Everyone'a picking their player of the season. What's the problem with that?

I think its apathy and I agree with Tayls. Who cares. Its a bit like being the best customer service rep on the Titanic

It's just a discussion about who's been our best player. If people don't care, then they don't have to join in.
-
Kodjia or Chester. The rest are a long way behind.
-
Nathan Baker..

Not really. Despite the overall poor performance by the team, there have still been some players who have acquitted themselves well and I see no reason not to recognise their contributions.
It's not like the season where Stephen fucking Ireland won it by default.
-
Hutton
Codger
Chester
-
Kodjia and Chester for impact. Hutton for commitment. Overall Kodjia.
-
1. Kodjia
2. Chester
3. Baker
-
Best: Chester, Kodjia & Hutton.
Worst: McCormack, Amavi & Elphick.
-
I would go with Kodjia overall given he has scored around 50% of our goals this season but would give Jedinak and Chester honourable mentions in what has been a desperately disappointing season
-
Kodjia all day long. Take away his goals and the season would have been catastrophic.
-
The good
Kodija for his goals (but not his team play)
Chester has been consistently solid and scored some goals
Jedinak played well after a shaky start
Adomah has been good in patches and contributed quite a few assists
The OK
Baker has been ok but not a lot more
I'm afraid I don't buy into the myth of Hutton's work rate and commitment. He's just been nopt quite as dreadful as past seasons.
Green and other youngsters - not really given a chance by Bruce
The keeper
Taylor
De Laet
The awful
Grealish is showing he hasn't got what it takes and has been massively over-hyped.
Everyone else has been mediocre or plain shite.
No-one else worth a mention really
-
Kodjia, Chester then Jedinak. And Green for young player.
-
Kodjia needs to do a hell of a lot more during games for me, that jog he does constantly is really annoying. Yes, he's scored a few goals in a crap league woop woop, so has Cameron Jerome and the 35 year old Kermorgant, who also has more assists.
Player of the season, you're having a laugh!
-
If it wasn't for his goals we would have been relegated again. And he made most of them himself.
-

'A few goals' is stretching the argument a bit. Besides, he wasnt here for a month and he still weighed in with 19 goals. Erm, woop woop.
-
Chester followed by Kodjia.
Baker has impressed me this year too. Either really improved or found his level, or a bit of both.
-
Chester for me.
-
Jimmys goals per game has improved, fk knows how, but it's Chester for me too.
-
Perhaps we should have a poll..?
Kodjia for me, narrowly ahead of Chester because - as the struggles of McCormack and Hogan show - to score goals in this team, you have to make them for yourself. Jedinak makes us more solid. Adomah links up well with Kodjia. Taylor was the best of the Bruce signings. Hutton and Baker have looked better players in a worse division, as you might expect, which is more than Westwood, Bacuna, Cissohko and Gestede could manage. Ayew actually looked worse a division down. Green or Gollini for best young player - might as well give it to Green as Gollini unlikely to ever be on hand to pick it up. Grealish the biggest disappointment, although Elphick, Lansbury, Hourihane and Bree run him close. Gabby pips Richards to the best mascot award. Gil wins the loan-player-I'd-most-like-back award.
-
Good shout. Any chance of a poll?
-
1 - Kodjia
2 - Chester
3 - Err...I'm struggling now. Jedinak I suppose but he was only a tad better than average. Actually maybe Adomah but it's slim pickings for third place. Most of them have been shit.
Edit - Forgot Young Player of the Year. Does Sam Johnstone qualify? He wasn't amazing but did OK after a shaky start.
-
1. Kodjia
2. Chester
Nobody else really merits a mention tbh. Another dismal year.
This would be it for me, also.
Even including those pair, I can't stand our current team. Bland footballers with very little desire or ability to change a game.
I'm sure there is ability in there somewhere, but possibly Bruce can't bring it out of them.
You're right, Risso. Dismal.
-
Kodjia, Chester then Jedinak. And Green for young player.
Gets my vote.
-
Got to be Kodjia for me followed by Chester I would also go Andre Green for young player of the year.
-
I don't know if it's just me, but i seem to read a lot of folks saying how awful this season has been. To me it's been a fresh air after five years of Blues. Granted the football hasn't been great but i've had far more enjoyment this season than I have for half a decade at least

Welcome back!
-
I ask myself - who would i not want to have been without
So kodjia by a country mile
I like Chester but I think he's a bit over praised by some
