Has anybody gambled on flights this summer? Any likely dates would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Don't know how this would work but I assume that once you're in international airspace the gambling laws would be different.
However, I doubt that Roulette would work because the slightest turbulence would knock the wheel off kilter. Might have to just be poker.
Not sure about dates either. Maybe match.com has a way of matching gamblers.

I can confirm that, whilst on a plane in the air, the laws of the country in which the plane is registered apply.
If the airline wish to operate gambling machines or run gambling games during the flight, then they would have to conform to the appropriate regulations as set out by the Gambling Commission.
As luck has it, the Gambling Commission are based in Victoria Square in Birmingham, so you can pop in and ask them to clarify the law for you and then sit and watch perplexed as they fail to understand their own regulations.

There was a whisper that they're coming to Germany, not sure where or when though.

Close.... Wyness. Fairly sure it was mentioned during a recent fan forum. Villa Park pitch is out of action this summer and so the team will have to go abroad. I think Germany was mentioned as a possible destination.

Ha! now,now paulie...you shouldn't be bothering those nice people down at the commission. All the answers you need can be found under the LCCP of the 2005 Gaming Act.

I gambled once and it crashed.

You don't need to fly to Watford - you can probably get there by train.

Four domestic pre-season games. All away

Glad we have actually got some Saturday games for once. It's a bit silly playing two games at once, be better playing them on successive nights so that the home teams can maximise their income from our visit.
