A few things to ponder.

Good article, especially re Alzheimer's.
-
Agreed, very succinctly (and starkly) put.
Not so sure on the 89/90-aping run though. 14 more wins would surely have us comfortably in the play-offs (even if it's the mootest of points).
-
If we can get 42 points from our last 13 games we deserve to win the league, World Cup, The National and World Toddlywinks.
-
Ha, just spotted that. I did think you or Dave would be in to make the point. 39 points might still be enough mind...
-
It would be 14 if we include Derby! Depressing to think we've made such a mess of this season that even ending with 14 straight wins may not be enough to make the play-offs.
-
Another good read Dave.

Well written Dave. Didn't a lot of the 57 Cup final team end up with dementia ? Would be a great gesture if clubs donated money to help with research, fat chance of that I guess.
-
Didn't much like what McNeill brought to ( took from ) the Villa, but I wouldn't wish Dementia on anyone.
Maybe too much ball-heading a la Astle ? Or banging his head against the wall at BMH?

Just reading today ex Liverpool player Tommy Smith is suffering from alzheimers, very sad.
