Well said

Well said Dave, especially the last sentence. I go one further than not buying the Sun. Any place I see the rag on sale I pick up a copy of any other newspaper that is not a political house magazine - Racing Post is good - and put it on top of the pile of Suns. The usual suspects think they are all sold and make do with the Beano for their daily intake of morality.

I saw the Sun reporter on Sky yesterday. He was trying to tell us that Graham thought it was a great headline -which in journalistic terms it was - completely ignoring the pain it caused to Graham, his family and everyone close to him. He undoubtedly enjoyed being part of the media later but that does not redeem a cruel personal attack. To repeat Dave - don't buy the Sun.
-
I wondered if they'd run it in some form. They really beggar belief.
-
They showed the picture during the obit on Sky. It was fair enough referring to the episode and showing the pic in order to discuss Taylor's time as England manager. However, Sky cropped the picture so that there was nothing to indicate which newspaper it came from and Th S*n was referred to just as "a tabloid".

Excellent piece and i concur, Don't buy the Sun.
-
I can feel a campaign coming on.....

Just to echo what has been said - do not buy the Sun. I grew up in a house where it was referred to as "that Tory rag" so I have never bought one. There are many reasons not to buy it.
To be fair i don't buy any tabloids now and haven't done for years. The sun is without doubt the worst of them - absolute scum.

Nice article Dave.
I try not to dwell on the Villa's situation as much as I used to but the bland, mid-table mediocrity that seems to lie ahead for the rest of this season can make me feel very fed-up.
As far as that shite that masquerades as a national newspaper is concerned, it beggars belief that thousands of people, every day, see that as their best way to stay informed as to what is actually going on in the world.
Of course, it's a free country and people can make their own choices but, if I'm standing in a queue and I notice someone is waiting to pay for a copy, my brain automatically just says 'Moron'.
For the sake of our children's children's children: Do Not Buy The Sun !
