I've just seen this video link on Twitter and am not sure if it's been posted on H&V before. On so many levels it's one of the finest clips of anything to do with Villa that I have ever seen. If you haven't seen it before, give it a watch.

(Apologies, still can't get my head around linking properly.)

Fantastic, epitomizes everything that is great about Aston Villa.
Makes me wish i was 5 years older .

Thanks, I liked seeing the old ground again, enjoyed the interviews and especially, all the names and the speed of Willie Anderson in that shooting/ defending exercise!
-
Magic. Enjoyed that thank you.
-
Marvellous. Those interviews with the old players are really important pieces of social history and you get a real sense we were (still are) one of the great clubs in the country the way they spoke.
The ground looks great as well.

I loved this.
In those days I was at most matches, home and away. The view of the Witton End reminded me of being eight years old hanging on to railings with such a huge drop down the banking. Health and Safety didn't exist!

Fantastic clip, fantastic days. All the players then we're heroes of mine (as an 8 year old discovering the game of football). They cemented my lifelong passion for all things Aston Villa.
