Dembele, Dier and Wanyama against Westwood, Gardner and Jedinak. Looks a pretty even matchup to me ;)

We'll smash 'em.
We're going to get torn a new bum hole.
Is this now acting as the Pre-Match thread or do we need a new one?
If we line up with Johnstone, Bunn, Gollini (Dean won't notice 3 keepers as he's too busy skipping around and pleasuring himself celebrating any Spurs pass), Hutton, Elphick, Chester, Baker, Richards, Cissokho, Amavi and, of course, Westwood, we may escape a severe thrashing. You are Alex McLeish back at White Hart Lane.
RHM has been dropped from the squad for refusing to sign a new contract. So you'll not be seeing him.
All this 5-0 talk and getting hammered is farcical, look back 10 years of Prem teams at home to championship sides and you won't find many over 3-0 - that said I think we will lose but only by one.
Gabby to score for us.

Last year?
Chelsea 5 - 1 MKDons
Blackburn 1 - 5 West Ham
A Spurs friend of mine has just been telling me they'll be playing a weaker side with a strong bench.
I can't see us getting anything out of this game so I will say 3-0 Spurs.
I'd be concerned if Johnstone's first match was a televised thrashing.
Our 'least shit' line up would probably be:
Johnstone
Bacuna, Baker, Chester, Amavi
Jedinak, Tshibola, Gardner
Adomah, McCormack, Grealish
Subs - Gollini, Hutton, Elphick, Cissokho, Westwood, Green and Agbonlahor
There probably is merit in the idea of giving Amavi a rest. But any permutation that sees Cissokho come in an and do that weird impression of a puppy chasing a balloon should be avoided. Even in a game like this.

You have to give him credit though, he fucking nails it every time.
A game to watch from behind the settee,
BBC currently wanking over the 1991 FA cup final.
Wonder if they'll mention 1957......
I just got 100-8 with my bookie.
Keep it respectable. All I expect, really. It's all I hope for. Unfortunately I don't expect it. I'm expecting 3-4 goal defeat. Hope it's not worse.

I can't see us scoring 8 Brian
It's my daughter's second birthday tomorrow, so luckily the football comes a very distant second to the super awesome tea party that'll be going on at our house. You're all invited.
We seem to have got ourselves into the position where we now only have one player who can play the central striker role, and he's gabby.
😳

Spurs are flying at the moment. It's gonna take all of BruciesAgree with you about Westwood and Gardner, but we don't want a replay, we've already got 6 games schedule for this month, that's plenty, it's win or bust. Bust is my bet, unfortunately.
tactical nous to prevent an embarrassing walloping. I'll take a draw and bring em to villa park for a cold winters night and you never know. But if I see the teamsheet with Westwood and Gardner paired together I won't even bother watching it.
Any idea on the away following we're taking today?
