Good summary Dave. Dead right too!!
-
Excellent.
-
Great article Dave and the last paragraph is so true. We do just know.
-
As usual Dave has summed up how we are feeling. I wake up now hoping that it is a match day. As for the fans, simply the best. To cope with that fraught journey and a real risk of missing a good part of the game with good humour following praise from the police after the 1 hour lock in at the venue which shall be nameless showed our class. I'm proud of you.

Were the traffic problems mentioned by car/bus ?
The train to/from the ground worked fine for me
-
spot on
-
There was an accident on the road into Brighton which caused over an hours delay.
-
Another good read Dave.

''We don’t say a word. We don’t have to prove a thing. We just know.''
Brilliant, Dave.
-
Justifiably upbeat, Dave. An encouraging read

Problem with the new found confidence and improvement in performances and results is that I now find myself worrying about the wheels falling off again and we go back to being the shambles that we were. You can't bloody win with this football game.
-
Superb read as always Dave - I just love the last bit - we do indeed "just know"
-
I've not read many of these and certainly don't recall reading them during "darker" times recently. Knowing Dave (not personally but as a writer) since the late 80's, I would guess that he made light of the trials and tribulations with a slant of humour that perhaps didn't reflect the true agony that we were all suffering.
This piece reflects the feelings of the masses perfectly. Oh to be able to look forward to watching our team play again, oh to be able to go to a game with hope and expectation again. The article puts this across perfectly.
If I were to be critical, I would probably disagree that we dominated the game from start to finish but that takes nothing away from our first half performance, which was very good.
Keep em coming Dave.

Excellent piece and last paragraph so true
