And if that doesn't work Tim Berners Lee is for it.

I've often wondered about the nervousness of the crowd affecting players, this lot a different set of players. I know it shouldn't given the amount they have paid but I've no doubt it does.
-
It's a lack of concentration and fight. Poor mistakes to make.

Interesting there is a cricket reference in there, because Villa at times remind me a lot of England's approach to ODI cricket until recently. There would often be a decent start, but then instead of accelerating in the middle overs they would lose all momentum and then not be able to regain it in the closing stages.
The odd game apart, we have been like that this season. Had a decent start and gone into a lead, but then instead of that being the cue to go up through the gears and take teams apart, we sit back and let teams get momentum. By the last few minutes, we are just hanging on and conceding becomes almost inevitable.
-
Most games we've only played well, or even at times very well, for 20-30 mins a game. Even as crap as this division is you won't win many doing that.
-
Nail on head - " appalling tactics and lack of nous". Get rid of him tonight .

I've tried turning the numb-o-meter up to 11 but it's stuck at 9.
On closer examination the mechanism seems to be jammed by a big chunk of anger and a smaller one of hope.

Oh Woofles ditch the hope for the sake of your sanity man!

Sad but true article Dave, it's getting beyond frustrating now.

Good read and spot on Dave.

Westwood must be mentally destroyed, and it is rubbing off on the rest of the team.

I thought the away contingent was as brilliant as ever I didn't sense any negative vibes...the players should see our packed away ends as an inspiration.

It was a great turnout again. There were a few there who obviously couldn't take their drink as normal and one arse by me who was angry before the game (when their announcer shouted 'come on Barnsley' over the tannoy like most of them do now, he went ballistic) , spent the first 10 minutes filming the game, then spent the rest of the game being angry before angrily leaving after they scored. He was basically Mr Angry.

I only followed the game on WM (on which I must add I think Mark Reagan and Garry Thompson tell it as it is and for me is interesting), and yet again, the vocal support for the boys was superb.

Well surely - whoever we're playing their manager, players and fans are all going to be thinking/saying/yelling - "it's Villa, go at them in the last ten minutes and they'll crumble". And we do.
It's down to the players to get the fuck over this pathetic pussyfooting attitude and show a bit of steel.

Interesting in that a couple of ''Presser'' articles ago the suggestion of removing RDM was ''ludicrous'', now it's merely ''should be ludicrous''. Deepdale on Saturday may remove any ludicrousness completely.
