GTC3 Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest, 1.15 pm Sunday 11th September
Welcome to Guess The Crowd3. This one promises to feature the best team for some time, given Our Tone's spending spree with RDM's shopping list.
The Brucie Bonus is open for a spot-on guess posted before 1.15 this Sunday, 4th September.
In an uncanny coincidence, this Sunday 4th will also see the launch of GTC 4! Oooooh!
Yes, it's another overlap, so make sure you get a single guess in both threads :) rather than both your guesses...
And remember.
It's never too late to join Guess the Crowd, or to revive your dodgy team you had last season. Look at the Villa! ( hopefully)

Comrade Blitz pmd me earlier, asking for this guess to be entered on this round as he would be out of contact with H&V at the crucial time. His guess has been verified by the Archbishop, or will be when His Grace reads this. :)

Wow.
Not seen this before!
The attendance today was 30,619.
Hoyle 87 scored 7.
The other 57 teams all scored 1!
Divisions up this evening

Attendance given out looked just about right, the Trinity Road was half Empty as was the sides and back half of the North Stand and the left hand side (if looking from the Holte) of the Witton Road.
Am quite surprised at how low the attendance.
-
Yes, it caught out everybody except Hoyle 87.
GTC 2 went the other way, with lots of players underestimating the crowd against Huddersfield.

50 out, that's the closest effort I've had :)
I had a feeling playing it early on a Sunday and live on Sky would knock 2 or 3 thousand off what I expect to be our average this season.
-
Very surprised at that attendance, suggest the ticket office computer has messed up, there was at least 34/35k there yesterday.
This suggests around 25k on Wednesday for the mighty Brentford.
Do we have an official steer on what the upper trinity closure means to the overall capacity this season?
-
Take off ooh, about 5,500 from last season's capacity figure and you are left with 37,140-ish. That's what we're using as a guide for full house, without the Upper Trinity.
I have no reason to believe the accuracy of the number I'm taking away, except a fellow H&V- er thought it sounded about right and a couple of others agreed with him!
The ticket office are staying silent on this one, so we're all in the same boat, Bottom Right.
If we get anywhere near the new capacity, we might have a better idea of how accurate it is. I'd guess spot on... ;)

Well played, Hoyle 87!
No doubt you've already guessed in the Guess The Crowd 4 Villa v Brentford thread! :)
