Gardener?

I won't lie. I did throw a rather childish 'strop' when we lost. Luckily my wife is an old hand at dealing with my 'Villa moods'. I am disappointed Sinclair left as I thought he could do a good job for us in this league. I also may have made a few comments about our goalkeeper that were slightly over the top and in the heat of the moment.

Nothing to argue with there. The trip to Luton could be a tough one though, they are fancied to do well in League Two and had a very good win at the weekend.

Gardner not looking too bad and the rest of the team basically looking alright? Both full backs didn't look alright to me, nor the trio in midfield.

Same here. I had with a self indulgent "really? again? how many years of this shite am I going to have to put up with?" moment. I am not proud of myself either.

Ross McCormack, who threatened on his debut without getting on the end of any clear-cut chances
He was put clean through on the goalie?

Good piece as usual Dave, the Luton game needs to be the springboard to get us going this season, giving a couple of kids a start along with Amavi and Grealish would be the best thing to do.

Good read Dave.

I said Gardner was disappointing.

Misread that, Sox didn't help. Apologies

The American sport-isation of football.
Never mind honours, glory and trying to see how far you can push yourself, do just enough to keep the cash rolling in and pick up a signing-on fee every couple of years. You’ll earn a fortune without ever exerting yourself.

Good read as usual Dave, not much to disagree with, hopefully the Luton game will give us the win we need to kick start the season with winning the next two home games which will put us towards the top 6. UTV.
