Signed. Nice article. Agree totally with your comment about away fans and pricing.

"I wish football supporters would realise that we’re all on the same side. We have more in common with the people in the away end than those in our own directors box. They’re allies, not enemies, and the more we can understand that and work together, the better deal we’ll all get."
That is applicable to many aspects of the modern game and should be engraved into the minds of all fans from every club.

Really good write up

Another great piece Dave. Once again the nail is hit squarely and firmly on the head. Farcical price for a ticket.
People who don't have to go anywhere near their back pocket to get out their wallets to pay are making these decisions.
-
Very good article Dave and so true about supporters who should stick together.
-
Excellent article Mr Woodhall, as always.
If only some of those making decisions about fans/tickets/prices had your common sense!
UTV!

Fair points on the fans sticking together. I've cooled off a bit now on the Wednesday prices and realise that we shouldn't stoop to their level when they come to our place, £25 a ticket would suffice.

Another good read Dave.

I've said on another thread that we could get some good publicity by charging them a low price and saying we appreciate they have to pay a lot at home and we're helping them save money.

Is there an official line from Wednesday as to why the ticket price is so high?

I really like the idea but it may not help our home form.

Agree with most of the comments on here and also agree that ripping away fans off at Villa Park is not the right response.
