Highlights of the FA Cup Quarter-Final vs Forest in 1996. Only thing i ever remember Franz Carr doing although to be fair he barely featured. I think he only played this night because Tommy Johnson was injured. Around this time it felt like one big game after the next and - Liverpool aside both in league and cup - we were a match for anybody. Happy days.

My first season as a fan, I loved that team. Full of quality all the way through from Bozzie to God,Taylor to Yorke what a great team and a great manager.
How I'd love for a bit of that today, they all worked hard and excelled in the positions they played that squad of players.
First shirt I had was that blue away top with Milosevic 9 on the back, very happy days.

Probably my favourite ever season following the Villa.

Unsuccessfully tired to start a chant "We Love Franz Carr" to the tune of Gary Numan's Cars. One the best ever away days, for lots of reasons.
-
My only trip to the City Ground, great to beat them as they were quite strong then.
-
Great days, only season I've ever done every game home & away aswell

It was my first season and I was 10 years old, Villa finished 4th, made it to the semi final of the Fa cup and won the league cup. Then in the summer England held the Euros and made it to the semi finals.
For a boy of ten I thought this would be what football would be like always, especially the Villa in terms of success and quality players. How naive can you get 😞
