Post by: Chris Jameson on May 04, 2016, 12:34:18 PM

Can't even give tickets away now! Somebody sent me a link on Twitter saying first Villa fan to retweet gets two tickets for the Newcastle match, I didn't actually retweet as such but warned it was a trap as there is every chance you'll get two tickets. Got offered them as wisely there were no takers!

I'd be very surprised if there is any truth in this. Weren't there supposed to be 10,000 Noses in the Holte End in September?

They ain't snapping them up very quick then, I looked a couple of days ago for a cheap one, then looked again this morning and there are nearly as many for sale today as there were on Monday. None of 'em very cheap though!

Got one now anyhow.

I've got quite a few mates who are Newcastle supporters and I've noticed on Facebook that although they have tickets a lot of their mates don't and are only asking for any spares in the away section and don't seem to have any intention of going otherwise. I'm sure there will be a handful in the home areas like there probably are for most games in the Premier League.

They are my only mates. I neglect to mention that as it makes it sound like I might be popular. I'm not.

15k all tooled up and with flags. would have been more but 6000 were still in newport pagnell trying to find their way to brugge and 120000 are still lost on the underground after they won the arthur grimshaw coal merchants memorial plaque

When I saw this yesterday I immediately contacted a mate of mine who is out of work in case he wanted to go.
Had nothing back until this morning to discover he fell off some scaffolding and has a compound fracture of his arm.
I know we're bad but bloody hell....

I need a ticket for a mate from Newcastle - he's a big supporter but he says he'll keep quiet, like.

I do like the way the bloke behind him is peering round in an effort to see the game.
