First game next season WTF
-
?
-
I don't think the fixtures tend to be announced before they know which teams are in each Division.
-
I've heard our first game is Barcelona away.
-
This is where weve ended up, good init
-
And blues at home last game to win the league
-
Unless its the first pre-season friendly the post makes no sense.
-
I think it's a "how far have we fallen" thread. Although it could also be a Diamond White thread.

We are direct opposition with them next season, will we win?

the best thing for me will be to see Nigel Clough at VP. Liked him a lot as a player and an example to be followed some of our players here could take note off fair play to him in fact might vote him for our next manager

They are not up just yet, but can you imagine telling a Burton Albion fan when they were in the conference in 2009 that just seven years later they would be playing Aston Villa in a league game.

We saw at VP when we played Sheffield United in the FA Cup.
That did not work out very well for us.

15th June fixture release date - when reality starts to bite.
6th August first game in championship. Reality.

On the plus side for cricket fans, there will still be a couple of months of the county championship remaining.

Seriously though Burton fkn Albion
-
I played one game for them.
Bit weird to think of them playing at Villa Park in a league game though. Although to be fair, they should be congratulated as they have risen massively above their station. Also, they're not up yet.

As I live in Tamworth I think this away trip will be closer to me than Villa Park is :)

Wtf indeed
