What a day.
In The Torch with loud, but good natured Leeds fans, great build up.
Savo's goal. The team performance. The whole thing.
It was perfect.
-
The Perfect Villa Day!
-
Bloody hell. 20 years. I was there and if someone said in 20 years time we'd be relegated without winning another trophy I'd never have believed it.
-
The win against Manchester United two years previously was probably the more memorable occasion, but thumping Leeds was by far the better performance.

The most one sided Wembley final I will ever attend, wonderful day!

I don't think we even thought we'd be waiting 2 years for another trophy after that performance let alone 20.
-
Inter-Toto and Peace Cup not good enough for you, then? Tsk!

Quite understandable, perhaps a touch of PTSD?

We were all over them.

Agreed.
94 was special because it was our first trip their in years and also the total arrogance of the United fans who thought they only had to turn up to win.
The Leeds final was one of the few times we've actually strutted around Wembley like we owned the place.
-
Watched it live on TV at The Dickens Inn in Philadelphia.
The place was full of Glory Hunting Man Utd ****** (their match against Spurs was on afterwards).

More than a touch, I'm afraid

Great times, played Liverpool the following week in the FA Semi at a 3/4 full Old Trafford, ticket prices were not kind if I remember and there were a lot of empty seats. Played well in that game as well but Fowler had the Jonah on us............

Before - this kicked off latish 5.00 p.m.

A complete performance and took a decent Leeds side apart that day. Seemed like we floated back up the motorway to Birmingham after the game.
-
Awesome day out got absolutely hammered in st Joseph's social club before the game got pics from there I will have to post maybe a few of you in them.
Missed savos goal having a leak
Taylor never stopped running that day
Yorke world class
Whole day brilliant

A great experience for us Villa fans. The only time Leeds got anywhere near us was the support before kick off.
-
Perfect day , even managed to get out the Green Man with minutes to spare before World War 3 broke out .
-
Has there ever been a better song at Wembley than the "Dwight Yorke" sung that day?
-
Just about as good as it gets that day football wise
