Post by: West Derby Villan on January 01, 2016, 02:31:26 AM
2016 a new year, dark clouds on the horizon, but we are Aston Villa.Time to regroup and move forward. Give it all to stay up. What ever happens, we will be back! It's our club, forget Lerner, Fox, whoever. It's our club, WE GO AGAIN!

I can't see us coming back for some time to be honest. The club doesn't have any focus and no one appears to be in charge. There doesn't appear to be a plan.

I get the feeling that this is going to be yet another missed opportunity for Villa; getting relegated the year tons more cash flows into the game. The loss of that revenue plus the chronic lack of direction, ambition and continued policy of getting players on the cheap and hoping for the best will see us fucked for years.

Also agreed. If they have somehow sleepwalkingly conspired to take us from comfortably stable in the league to utterly adrift, I have no faith in anyone at the club to refocus us for a possible promotion charge from the Championship. The club's hierarchy don't broadcast a sense of cohesive urgency, rather one of meek acceptance.

Don't think we are fucked. The squad is good enough for the championship. Yeah we'll lose the few potentially excellant players like Ayew, but the core of the squad is perfectly capable of being in the promotion places this time next year. Whether that's garde or someone else, its doable imho

Well....it's going to be different at least.

Going to have the feel of 90s for me or in the modern day early Carling cup rounds....2 minute highlights, limited camera angles, channel 5 etc.

We're unbeaten all year. We're smashing it.
