Got a couple of tickets for this earlier, even though our situation could be even more dire by the time this match comes round!

Allocation has been increased to 3000.

Bizarre logic from the TO. Gives us a week and a half to sell 1,000 tickets. Whereas at Everton when we sold the initial allocation 4 weeks before the game and they didn't take the extra. Just hope if we don't sell the extra 1,000 due to time constraints the TO don't use it as ammo in future 'we aren't taking extra because we didn't sell them for Blunderland'.

Sunderland tickets are half the price than for Everton for one. And maybe if the away support is as important to the team as many people say it is, the club want to maximise the number of Villa fans there for a game that could potentially see us leapfrog our opponents?

I am always in favour of giving as many away fans the chance to be there as possible, so it is a positive in that respect. I just hope it's a sign of things to come and they won't be reverting back to their previous stance.

The difference is Everton sell the upper tier to their own supporters if the away club don't require them. I don't think due to segregation purposes Sunderland can do the same.

Still a bizarre decision by the Villa TMO not to take the extra allocation at Goodison when it sold out before it went on general sale.

My ticket seems to have got lost in the post. I am having second thoughts about chasing it up.
