Saturday 3pm
Another draw for me.
-
Agree Ger.
We'll F¤¤k the F¤¤kers 0-0.
-
Remi will have us playing like Barcelona by Saturday...
...a grinding-out of an epic 1-0 Villa victory!
-
0-0
-
I wonder when we'll get the obligatory Sad Brummie piece from some Everton site who don't know their 'istory as much as they think they do?
-
Probably just trying to find the one from about 1990 that they've been using ever since.
-
I think he will start with Lescott at left back Okore at centre half and see how it goes. Time,I think, for Adama to make an impact.
-
The way Everton have been playing of late I'd take a draw now!
-
We will win this game because Garde will outthink Martinez. Tight 2-1 win, Ayew and Gil with our goals. Naismith for them.
-
2-0 Everton.
-
1-0 win for the Mighty Villa
-
Any point/s from this will be most welcome
-
On its a fine old club to play for...
-
Has anyone got a spare ticket for Saturday, please, as my elder son (ST holder and regular away match attender) is now able to go.
PM if you have a spare.
-
2-1 Villa
-
1-0 win for Villa
-
1-1...
-
1-2 Villa.
Lots of "handball lid!".
-
Voted for a home win
Would be delighted with a draw
A win and we can really start to believe!
-
Will any of our players be fit?

Will any of our players be fit?
Richardson. Lescott. Maybe Gabby?

0-2

Think we might sneak it 0-1, or 1-2. Used to be a happy hunting ground, Goodison. Hopefully we can produce a similar level of performance we achieved against City and with a bit of luck (again) jag the 3 points. Be nice for the French contingent if they can come away with a win to bring them a bit of relief from the events of the last week or so.
-
Can't see us scoring a goal so 0-0 would be a pretty good result. Concede once and we're sunk.
-
I can't really see beyond a comfortable home win, so I'd be absolutely delighted if we can get something from this game.

I have a feeling that we will be awarded a penalty

would be delighted with nil nil and then Watford at home...
-
If we play like we did in the 1st half against City over 90 minutes then a win is a possibility. I'm going for a 0-0 draw though.
-
I'm going for a 1-1 draw with Ayew scoring for us
Not sure who is fit but would like to see us go with Guzan, Hutton, Richards, Clark, Richardson or Crespo, Gueye, Sanchez, Veretout, Sinclair, Gil, Ayew
Subs: Bunn, Lescott, Westwood, Bacuna, Grealish, Kozak + Richardson or Crespo
-
Looking forward to this, slightly optimistic.
Fuck the fuckers.
-
Tough game this, can only see a defeat. 3-1 to them
-
1-0 victory.
-
2-3 to us.
Win this and we can start to climb the ladder up the league
-
1-0 to us. Ref incorrectly awards us a throw-in after 5 minutes, their fans spend the rest of the game moaning about it.

If we are going to stay up, this is exactly the sort of game we need to be picking up points in. Everton are a good side, but so are a lot of the teams this year. They are in a group of upper mid table teams that are decent, but realistically we need to be taking points off them. A draw minimum, but 3 points would be a real boost.
-
2-0 win for Villa with Vertout and Ayew scoring ;)

You'll do for me.
-
Let's salsa!
-
3-1 to them. Lukaku to get a couple.
-
Comfortable win for us. Push on for European qualification.
-
Nick a draw at Everton, then beat Watford and we could really start looking forwards.
-
On Villa TV they have Andy Gray interviewed by a woman! Is this wise?
-
I do wonder how managers do these press conferences because are just so fucking crap. I don't know who's asking them, but questions "like should the French national anthem be sung at every game this weekend?" Ask him about the game, something in depth, do some research etc.
edit: well looks like it is going to be played, but my general point on press conferences stand. At least the answers are better now.
-
4-0 to the Villa.
Fuck me this is a nice drop of rum...

Not sure about giving Sinclair another chance, he does put in a shift defensively but thats about it
we still look very light on a goal threat
-
Has Remi given his presser?
-
Think we will be solid for 75 minutes and Remi has us defensively sound setup to play away at a hard ground. We'll get a penalty or break for a goal and we're hanging on to claim the win.
Vivez l'aventure !
-
2 - 0 win. Don't care who scores.
-
3:1
Rideout brace, Cottee 1. Paul Mortimer consolation.
-
Thinking we need at least 4 points from our next 3 games. So a point here would make that easier. More hope then belief though...
-
Fuch the fuchers. Villa win.
-
If we can score 1 then I reckon a draw as I am sure that they will get at least 1. Would be nice if we could go 2 games without us gifting a goal .
-
Fuch the fuchers. Villa win.
Leicester bought him in the summer, not sure if he's been involved in their rise to the top.
-
1-2. Vive la revolution!
-
1-0 Villa Unsworth own goal
-
This is third time I'll be at Center Parcs while we play at Goodison. Last two times have both been 2-2, so I'm going for that.
-

Actually I think both Andy and Amelia did a great job. No offense to Jack but she just got through her interview in a far more professional manner. Andy Gray just came across as a bloke who still has a place in his heart for our club.
Good stuff.
-
Think I'm overly optimistic for this one, I'm going with a hard fought win.
-
Fifteen years ago in November 2000, whilst I was painting the downstairs loo, Paul Merson scored a 35-yard screamer two minutes from time for us to win 1-0 at Everton. So, as I'm going tomorrow, I've just been painting the downstairs loo again and now fully expect a scintillating goal from Carlos Gil and another 1-0 win.
-
A hard fought 1-1 draw Barry for them and Lescott for us

1. Was it the same house/loo on both occasions?
2. Did you paint it in the interim?
-
1. Yes, albeit we're just about to have the loo and wash basin replaced.
2. No, it was a garish orange (how fashions change!), now it's a tasteful, very light, blue. :)
-
I'll go for 1-1
-
4-0 to the Villa.
Fuck me this is a nice drop of rum...
4-0? That must be a pretty big drop?! I so hope you're a barman?
-
Rico for left back?
-
Anything as long as it shows promise that whatever happens between now and May we'll be fighting all the way.
-
Optimistic that we might get a draw. Although we obviously need more that single points, getting one at Goodison would be good result. I'm going 1-1.
-
I feel quite positive about the team now it's under new tutelage. Villa to win two nil, Ayew and Sinclair.
-
It would be really nice if we could nick a win.
-
I'll be happy with a draw. Nil nil even. Garde is looking to stop the other lot scoring. Simple.
-
0 - 0 Ciaran to continue his Rep Ireland form.
-
Anything as long as it shows promise that whatever happens between now and May we'll be fighting all the way.
I'd agree with that
Also, some more evidence that we've 'steadied the ship' would be good.
-
An optimistic 0-0.

We need to see that we are moving in the right direction. That some of the football we started to play against Man City has been reinforced. That we are not afraid and we came out with a plan to beat Everton. In the end we might not but it won't be for the lack of ideas or intent to win.
-
Got a sneaky feeling of a Villa win..
-
ahem, my desire to see this game is indeed exstream, cough cough splutter, can anyone assist?
