That pass by Sid for Mortimer's goal was sublime.

Happy days. Watching that made me realise that even now almost 35 years later I still consider all of those players to be heroes.

Bless the tiny knot of Mackems who when Withe didn't take the second half chance can just be heard chanting "Magpie reject!".

Was that the game Ron Saunders missed with the flu? I think Roy McLaren was in charge.
