Title: Tickets on the day
Post by: Kimaster1976 on October 02, 2015, 09:58:32 AM
Back during the O'Neill regime I used to go to pretty much every home game but following a messy divorce some 4 years ago (Dont ask) Ive not been since, yet tommorow I feel I may take the plunge back to Villa Park.

Can you buy a ticket from the box office at the ground on the actual day of the game still? will you need a booking history or something, I will be on the system if they keep records from 4-5 years ago.

Tomorrow is on general sale so you won't even need a booking history. Personally I'd book one online, and then you just have to collect it from the ground tomorrow. I've never tried just turning up and paying on the day, so hopefully someone else can verify whether that would be ok.

Not got my ticket on the day for a while, so unsure, but you could order online / call the ticket office and collect on the day (usually from the Trinity Road collection point). I've done that a few times, when I've decided to go at the last min.

I should book online, at least your booking history will begin again.

On a different note, I not being flippant with ref to your divorce, but a quote that always make me chuckle?

"A bloke is more likely to change his MRS than his football team"  Welcome back mate & UTV !

They do keep records from that far back, If you book online you will create another reference number and then you will have 2

If you can get to the ground a bit early ie 45 minutes and get a ticket from ticket office and they will add it to your old a/c
