I hope there's enough fight in that team. The back six will need to be strong as the rest are a bit lightweight

Lots of skill if we can get on the ball though.

What's the crack with Adama? His injury nearly 3 weeks ago seemed innocuous ? Hope I'm not reading too much into it.

I don't get the love Sherwood has for Bacuna. I like him as a squad player but not a regular right back and fear for him today against either of their wide men.

Sherwood said Adama was touch and go for this week. Imagine him against the pace of Albion next week.

Apparently he got two injuries in that game - the hamstring one was innocuous, the ankle less so

Lots of pace in that side but a bit lightweight. Vardy is fast becoming the most dislikeable footballer but he's got pace though the middle. Decent game with the points shared - 2-2

Sherwood's very big on developing players. Bacuna isn't the finished article and Sherwood will have a picture in his mind of where he can get to.

Well he's no winger. He's managed one cross this season and even that could have been described as a poor shot.

I think Gil will be the wide creative type with Grealish more often central.

This is the problem with Gabby being the automatic starter. We have to fit in players around him.

Two things to be wary of:

Leicester like to make a really fast start

Limited protection for our full backs in that formation. They're both athletic which helps and Amavi is two footed which also helps. But I don't fancy Gil and Sinclair to offer much doubling up protection

The choice is between gabby, gestede and ayew tho I think. Sinclair can play off a striker but not as the main one (I think - could be wrong).

Grealish had a good spell but his head's gone a bit now. Needs to play some simple balls.

This is winnable. We need more quality upfront though. Still, two fantastic chances in half an hour shows were doing quite well in that respect

Put a really good number 9 in this side and we'd be a good team

Excellent first half. Totally in control.

It goes to show why we need Gil and Grealish in the same side. They have a knack of finding little pockets of space, and both are so comfortable on the ball. Defensively excellent so far. Amavi has done an fine job up against Mahrez, and you can tell Leicester are scared of him when he gets forward.

Only negative would be Gabby, who has been poor again.

Eyes on Sherwood now. The last couple of league games the opposition manager has changed it around at half time, and we've responded poorly on both occasions. Sherwood can not allow it to happen again

Gabby needs to do his fucking job and hold the ball up.
He's being bullied; Gestede would do a better job against Huth.

They're a bloody big team. Despite Gabby getting bullied there's far more movement today with him and Sinclair switching and giving the ball to the wide players whilst getting themselves in the box.

Lots to be happy about even though the game is very open we're looking like we're more than a match for them. Only complaint is Bacuna who needs a touch every time he's given the ball. He desperately needs to learn how to control a ball.

Hopefully if Leicester change it around, Sherwood will respond before it's too late. Right now he deserves credit for having faith in his players to go out there and go head to head.

I know Gabby isnt a favourite among fans theses days but in this game he is probably not a bad option.

Gestede (who I still think will evolve into premier material later in the season) would be more static.
Gabby is making runs today and creating space. True he has been lacking in execution when he gets the ball. But he has helped Gil and Jack dominating this half.

It is the big issue isn't it. So far this season we were miles better against Sunderland first half and got out thought at half time, against Palace it was the same, miles better team then out done by Pardew at half time. Even against United I thought we were the better team first half and then contained second.

You're right about Bacuna's first touch. Occasionally, he plays a killer pass and - although that is not enough on its own to justify a place in the team - demonstrates that he does actually know what to do.
Is he really good enough at the moment? - not sure, but I don't know what the alternative is right now.

Were a little critical of Sherwood when the opposition make changes which Leicester will obviously do for the second half.It will be interesting to see how we can match up and cope with it.
Were just missing that focal striker to hit from wide positions and I would imagine Gestede to come on at some point but its usually not Gabby that goes off.

Need to be switched on and straight into them at the start of the second half... the game is there for the taking.

We certainly look up for it. I still worry about our fitness over 90 minutes.

After nearly a decade of knobbing millions upon millions on central defenders we finally look like we have a genuinely solid pairing for the princely sum of ....

We should be more than one up and that is the only worry. Sherwwod needs to put a lid on whatever Ranieri tries next.

The better team by far.

I just hope we don't do that one good half, one poor half thing.

Yep, that's my concern too.

With the home team one down at half time, they're bound to change things. A test for Sherwood.

Its difficult because some of the crosses that Amavi and Jack have put in have had Rudy's name all over the them. Sinclair needs to be more involved in the game more as he has a surer touch than Gabby.

Mahrez central and Dyer on right now, matching our 4231 possession dominance. Agree we now have proper centre backs at last. Agree we needed to score 2 when dominant.

I don;t know about moronic, but it was certainly very naive. As of Sherwood thought the game was done and dusted, so might as well give Ayew a run out.

Eyes on Sherwood now. The last couple of league games the opposition manager has changed it around at half time, and we've responded poorly on both occasions. Sherwood can not allow it to happen again

I posted this at half time. Sherwood has fucking allowed it to happen again.

Leicester moved Mahrez more central, and Sherwood did absolutely fuck all to combat it. He then takes off Gil after the second goal (fair enough if he was tired) but instead of bringing on another midfielder to shore things up, he brings on a passenger in Ayew to supplement passenger Gabby.

I am fucking furious. 3 points thrown away in a game we were in complete control of.

Gil had to come off, he was running on empty. Ayew coming on? Clearly the wrong decision and I really think he looks a poor player. Wasn't his brother free at Swansea and he's flying? As for Sanchez, I have never rated him, me constantly seems not switched on and taking Bacuna off for Hutton with 5 to go is telling. I don't think we will see Bacuna for a while now and also Gested should be starting ahead of Gabby (although I didn't think he was that bad today) as Rudi holds the ball up so much better.

I don't understand why Veretout didn't come on? He's fairly composed, would have added some bite to the midfield, he sits fairly deep usually. It would have enabled us to close the game out. Sherwood seems very naive.

Tactically redundant rather than naive

Let's be clear the least culpable person in this is ayew. He's a new player struggled to settle, chucked in in the worst possible circumstances.

No doubt Sherwood has made us better to watch, but serious questions have to be asked about his tactical nouse.  He's as thick as Lambert in this aspect

Currently transpiring as I thought it would. Short sharp shock.Positive.  Limitations will be shown up thereafter. And boybthey are.

Await Fox's False Narratives explanation.

Leaves you lost for words really doesn't it. Villa's ability to ruin my weekend reaches new limits every season

Cheer up Richard - I`ve just stopped caring, which is why I am rarely seen on here these days.

Doh Sherwood.
We all slated Keane but could have done with his passion yesterday.
