Presuming it is going to be made available for transfers and that a big chunk hasn't already been spent on our two new signings, it is the kind of money that could improve us markedly if spent correctly.

Different era, but I always remember how Ron Atkinson used the money we got for David Platt to build the basis of a side that would finish 2nd in the league and win the League Cup.

Must have some Italian in his ancestry. They are famous for Captains who leave a stricken ship.

This man has shown beyond reasonable doubt that he has none of these qualities.
