For those not going to the game where are people going?
Where in Birmingham will be heaving with villa fans and why have the club not got it on?
Thanks
-

At a guess because they've had to organise the ticket sales for the 25,000 that are going to Wembley.
-
Me and a mate will be in the Britannia in Wollaston, watched the semi final in there and it was buzzing
-
It's looking unlikely i'll get a ticket now so i expect to be sat at home watching it. Travelling down there to watch in a pub just doesn't appeal. Being nearby but not being in the ground would make it even worse for me.
-
The club already had commitments on the day, such as weddings etc and couldn't show the final as well as have those on.
-
Will be watching at home in Manchester with a few Man City supporting mates who are coming round to cheer on the Villa and to drink me out of house and home!
-
I'll be watching at a wedding that I'm usher for. Still completely devastated.
I'll be facilitating an exit from the meal at 5.20 and expect a number of people to follow me. I don't care if it does annoy the happy couple!
-
White Star in Benidorm, with the Lioness and the cub.
-
There was talk the Ads may open. Might be worth giving them a call.
-
Snobs are showing it. Have a number of screens and the beer prices are decent.
-
somewhere in Toronto
-
I'll be heading south to meet up with TSOV Sr at this place on the right...

Really weird thing happened last time I was there. I was watching an England match in there last summer and at half time when outside to have a cigarette. I got talking to this bloke who turned out to be a Villa fan. He was a Brummie, living in Portugal (Setubal) and by co-incidence his parents live in Sutton. When I asked him where about it turned out their garden backs on to my parents'.
-
I will be watching at home with She-who-must-be-obeyed and our Villa-supporting 17 year-old. I could watch it in a bar but £6 a pint doesn't appeal to me.
-
Somewhere in Brighton in a sea of plastic gooners
-
I will be at my kids games pretty much all day, then I have a game in the evening. My only chance to watch it will be at 9pm. I have a really tough decision to make whether to avoid updates or just take it all in on my phone as much as possible.......
-
At home, as I watch through my fingers of one hand, while the other holds a drink / snacks, and trying not to get annoyed by the other half ( Norwich supporter ).
Then running around like a lunatic when we win ( or if we don't, saying "at least we stayed up")
-
My couch, California. The wife & kids will be over at the mother in laws. We decided it was best they didnt see their father cry, which is likely, win or lose.

Cool, you've named your couch. ;)

Hah! Very good.
-
I was planning to find a pub somewhere down here, or mooch along ticketless to Wembley just to be there. But I reckoned without how late it is this year, and the fact it's the same day as my son's birthday.
So I'll be watching on TV somewhere near Doncaster and keeping half an eye on H&V, which is in fact far better than being there. Yay!
-
I'll not bother with a pub. Don't want to run the risk of any noses spoiling the atmos.
-
The Boot, near the hospital in Sutton is really going for it. Pre & post match disco of Villa songs (????!!!!), free buffet, etc
-

But aren't they all literate, in S U A, as opposed to illegitimate being your everyday run of the mill nose 8)
-
Missus at work, so I'll be watching at home with kids.
So so so excited, should be a good day with bbc getting us in the mood.
-
Will be an exact rerun of the semi-final. SOTC coming round to my house for start of BBC coverage then we shall have exactly the same lunch including not opening the gin til half time.
The rest is down to the team!
-
My couch, California. The wife & kids will be over at the mother in laws. We decided it was best they didnt see their father cry, which is likely, win or lose.
Cool, you've named your couch. ;)
Hah! Very good.
My sofa for Saturday will be the "Tiptree Road Stand"
(I live in Tiptree)
-
At a bloody wedding in Leominster. I just bloody hope they have televisions there.
-
I'll be watching it with my fathe in Northamptonr who followed Villa thru every round all the way to the final in 1957. I'm hoping he will be seeing them win it for a second time.
-
Stupid question, but anyone have suggestions for pubs in London? Not near wembley preferably.
-
My son has to go to Manchester for a friends 21st. Can anyone suggest a good pub where he can watch the final?
-
The Villa fans' favourite organ has chimed in with some suggestions. Bless!
Aston Villa v Arsenal: Where to watch the FA Cup Final in Birmingham (http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-v-arsenal-watch-9331412)
-
I will be at my nephew's holy communion bash at my sisters house in Cork. Before they semi final I warned her there was a chance the family doo might not have my full attention. T.V. Being set up in the garage along with the beer pumps. Could be dangerous .
-
I'm gutted. Going to sma wedding. Ceremony starts at 3pm. Groom is a villa fan!
I'm taking the iPad
-

Cheers bar on Regent St used to be good. I watched us beat sha in there at the sty 2-1 the Gabby late header

Is that still there? I can't recall even seeing it for years. Going past in the morning so I'll check.
-
If I was in London and not going to the game i'd go to the Clay Oven.
-
I was going to the Bull at Ambridge but the big screen's broken so they've cancelled.
-
I am in the one place I can't watch the game at all....
In the air, half way to Tenerife! That'll learn me to plan ahead in future.
I'll await the influx of text messages when I turn my phone back on again. Hopefully, there'll be loads of "You jammy b@st@rds"
-
Poor old Joe C is having to fly in and out of his holiday in Italy for the game!
-
My son has to go to Manchester for a friends 21st. Can anyone suggest a good pub where he can watch the final?
The Lost Dene on Deansgate or Mulligans on Southgate (which is just off Deansgate) are both decent for the football; plus there isn't much love for Arsenal round this neck of the woods so most of the locals will be supporting the Villa!
-
I have to work weekends these days in a large retail store hence I stopped my season ticket after 20 years !
I usually finish work at 6pm on Saturdays. This Saturday I will go to work in a motorhome which has a TV and will finish early. Already taken it in and double checked the reception and will be in the car park right outside the back of the store. A couple of colleagues (including my Arsenal supporting sales manager !) are watching it with me.
Homemade Lasagne, Salad, Crusty Bread and a couple of bottles and some nice celebratory cake will be laid on for a spread.
-
Watching at home with the Bluenose Mrs who wants us to win. Might fire up the BBQ and chill in garden beforehand.
-
At home. Didn't fancy to pay over 500 quid a ticket.Got Villa supporting friends coming over. Ordered plenty of British ales, got my back garden all cleaned up and decorated. Bring them on!
-
On the couch at the Match kicks off at 2.30am. Ouch!
It'll be a long night whatever happens.
-
trying to stay awake at midnight here in perth west Australia but make sure I will have a great day all
-
No ticket but I'll be in that there London to meet a few of the good fellows from here. I'll find a pub near our Saturday pre-match meeting place to watch our glorious victory.

For fucks sake, who told those breegs about the Clifden?
It's shit in there, don't bother....

The Walkabout on Quay Street is pretty good for football too.
-
If they don't show it in the Bull then I'm going to toss myself off Lakey Hill.
-
I think I'll be going to The Baring Pub in London managed by a Villa fan.
-
I could recommend the Captain Kidd or The Town of Ramsgate in Wapping. That way if the worst happens it's just a hop step and a jump and your in The Thames . Doggets aswell in fact.
-
I'll be watching it at a Roma-supporting mate's house in Rome.
-
I'll be watching in my local in Huddersfield, The Fieldhead. Along with Mrs Pete, the toddler and the baby, all in colours (57 shirt for me, last years and this years shirts for the little uns, and my wife likes the European Cup final shirt so will probably wear that). The landlord is a West Ham fan so is going to put up his claret and blue bunting - not so much for us, I think, more to piss off the three Arsenal plastics who drink in there. He can't abide them.
-

I've got friends round there and they are both nice pubs, there is another one further up toward Canary Wharf that, unbeknown to me, is owned by Gordan Ramsey, I strolled in ordered a couple of ciders, two pints of bitter and a bowl of chips and nearly had a heart attack when I got a bill for more than 30 quid. There is also a good one on Wapping High St, owned by a famous actor who's name escapes me for the moment.

Sir Ian McKellan owns the lease of The Grapes.

Nice little boozer. The only nod to his presence is a wee statue of Gandalf at the back. Only been there once but it felt like a pub from my youth.

The White Swan in Digbeth? Do what? Going to be full of 'Arsenal' fans in there.
-
Anyone else, like me watching on their todd ?
I'm at my holiday place in Wales this week on my own and not going home until Sunday - obviously either delirious, that this long wait is finally over, or in one of those frames of mind when you just don't want to speak to anyone.
-
Home in Jhbg with family.
Had a ticket offer but want to watch it with my son who could not make the trip.
Was at Wembley in 2000 and missed (my now dead) dad who was there in 57 .
Will be trying to stay calm, go shopping in my 72 shirt in the morning.
Come home, light the Braii. scared that I will be so pissed by kick off (6.30 here) that I miss the nuances of the game.
A bit like the Everton L.C Final 1st game where I collapsed on the floor in a drunken stupor and was woken up and assisted from the ground.
Probably best view of the game.
Seriously, the world will be lit up in all 4 corners of the globe (I know !!!) when the famous Aston Villa lift the cup.
I have booked of Monday to recover.
Come on you Lions.
Big Pete, Roscoe, Bernie, Hickman, Coogan, Kenny, Jammy, Foxy, Paul, Jeff, Miffy, J.B, Whillock, Eddie, Granny, Haddon, Dennis, and all the rest give it big time for me.
Gwily

I live in north London but want to be surrounded by fellow Villains so am heading to Brum city centre. Any pub suggestions would be very helpful. Is walkabout any good or somewhere slightly further afield? Thanks
-
The Boot, near the hospital in Sutton is really going for it. Pre & post match disco of Villa songs (????!!!!), free buffet, etc
Ha I'll probably end up watching it there, seen a few aways in there this season which we've actually won so a relatively lucky pub to watch us play in.
My Dad dosen't seem to think it will be that rammed so he said to me "he'd get there around 5." Oh dear.
I watched the Southampton 6-1 in the White Horse just up the road so that's been blacklisted now, no chance I'm watching it there.
-
My son has to go to Manchester for a friends 21st. Can anyone suggest a good pub where he can watch the final?
About a good hundred in Didsbury from memory.
-
Quick advert here for my Hotel, The Gwydyr Hotel in Betws y Coed, Snowdonia. We have a 200" screen and we will be showing the Final. I've even got a couple of hours off to watch it myself.
-
I got married two weeks or so before the semi, and we already had our honeymoon booked. In any case I wouldn't have been able to make it back, but we'll be up at dawn watching just outside Hana, Maui.
-
You need to get your priorities straight!
Ian - Give Snobs a whirl. Round the corner from New Street. Loads of screens. Keenly priced beer.
-
I think I'll be going to The Baring Pub in London managed by a Villa fan.
Think I might try here too. Is there any chance he can bar Gooners? I'd like to wear my Villa shirt.

From what I've read on the net, it's a very laid back place.

Is the pub okay? I don't live far from there (but in deepest arsenal territory) so it could be an option. I must've walked passed it a dozen times but I cannot picture the place.

I was in your hotel last Tuesday week (we stopped for lunch) on the way to Llanberis to climb Snowdon and very good it was! Snowdon however was bloody freezing at the top.
-
i,m thinking of coming into brum would like to watch it in town if possible, just want to be with my own kind [villa fans] where would be best hav'nt drank in town for ages.

i'm in finsbury park, so the local pubs aren't an option!

In an Arsenal pub downtown Limassol - the Woodman if anyone's here on their holidays.

Hope you enjoyed your lunch. Snowdon is very unpredictable and catches many people out particularly clothes wise. Lets hope the Villa do the same to Arsenal on Saturday. I have to say I am so nervous about watching the game in my own place in case I either get carried away or just want to disappear down a hole.
-
Snobs it is!
-
The M1 has been awful today
-
Watched semi in King of Prussia, Kingsbridge
repeating for tomorrow, with hopefully same result 8)
-
Can anybody recommend a pub in Bristol to watch it? I couldn't get a ticket for my daughter so she'll be there.

Massive benefit though is you can kick out any Arsenal fans if they start causing trouble. By "causing trouble" I mean being an Arsenal fan in and of itself is a provocation to any normal person. Ban em all.

We've been advertising the Duke of Edinburgh in Brixton for London Lions ticketless fans.

I called him a couple of weeks ago to see if he wanted us to advertise his pub for the final, he said the place is tiny and doesn't have a big screen, it'll be packed with Arsenal fans, Rodent, don't you live in Streatham ? They'll be a few Villa fans in the Duke of Edinburgh in Brixton

I've programmed the till so they get charged an extra 20% on the beer. It will be a good day tomorrow!

I am, but have to be at a mate's album launch straight after final, so going into the badlands north of the river.
-
At home, the Mrs has popped out. When is it acceptable crack a homebrew?
-
At home wondering whether to fire up the bbq and get some burgers going.
-
At wedding in Leominster of all places..just checked out reception venue and they are showing the cup final. So at 5.30 sharp I will be putting on my lucky scarf and probably making a right spectacle of myself....come on you lions...@!!
-
At home. Holed up in bed at minute - feel utterly shit after about 1.5 hours sleep last night. May even have to be alcohol free.
Come on you Lions!!!!!!
-
Will be watching in The Penny Black on Boat Quay in Singapore. 12.30am kick-off here. So a polite request to win in normal time please. Not that I'll be able to sleep anyway after we win!!!
-
A yet-to-be-decided pub in Cheltenham for me.
There will be no shortage of venues so will have a mooch around and scope things out first before making a decision.
-
At home
70inch TV
With son
Crying
With joy
-
Lansdown Inn - Cheltenham, has been the suggested location for this glorious occasion.
-
Going up the local pub, winding wheel Heath Hayes with my baggies supporting mate and another mate who is a utd fan. Hope to god we win this, up the villa!
-
I'll be in a pretty studenty pub up here in Edinburgh, where I've no doubt the Tarquins will outnumber me by about ten to one.
By the way, who thought it was a good idea to name their baby 'Tarquin', known for being the name of probably history's most notorious rapist?
-
Off to the sack of spuds in Gosta Green..... Whatever the result I'm gonna enjoy the day..... Hope you all do the same!!
-
I'm opting for the at home alone approach. Did think of seeing a mate, or the bro, or hitting the pub, but honestly, I'm gonna at some point be a complete emotional wreck and would rather do that in private. ha ha. Plus most of the pubs round here will see me heavily outnumbered by Gooners.
Plus I'm working right up until kick off. Then as soon as I can compose myself after the collection of the trophy (by us hopefully) it'll be back to knuckling down and working...or as best as I can manage.
-
New Place hotel near Southampton. I booked a weekend away back in March. Just debating between room or bar
-
At home in Cork. Cmon Villa!
-
At home just outside Barcelona, watching the BBC on a new 300mb broadand connection.
This really is the holy grail.... I'm unbelievable stressed. COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!,
-

That's me
Can't cry in front of my mates
-
At home by the start of the 2nd half i should have thought.
