Great goal by Brian Little. But still a tap in compared with Chris Nicholls at the other end a few weeks later.

Loved that Villa shirt, wish I'd kept mine.  I was rubbish at keeping stuff, if I remember rightly it was made with proper material too?

Without doubt the best Villa away kit ever.

I may have missed 5 games that season and as a 16 year old still at school not bad form at all.  This was one of them.  Just didn't have the money after Wembley and Sheffield.  Hated Manchester up to the league cup final, got jumped at Maine Road at the start of the season, saw us lose tamely in the league New Years Day.  Saying that did well against both of them at Villa Park.

Yes, I had that one and it felt very lightweight and flimsy on. A great shirt, best with white shorts for me

Unfortunately, the day the dream of The Treble disappeared - what a superb season though - never tire of reminiscing about it.
