Good article. I'd add Grealish to the list as well as I think he looked like he could do with a breather as much as Gil could do with a start.
-
I agree Dave, no risks with our top players before Wembley!
-
I have a feeling Ron Vlaar will out perform everyone at Wembley. Our chances of winning could well depend on him rising to the occasion.
Also Carles Gil should be on the bench to replace Jack Grealish should he not be effective.
-
Agreed Dave - rest those mentioned plus Grealish...and I believe Okore has been playing with an injury too.
It will be good to be playing a pressure-free game and to give a chance to those on the fringes - Gil, Sinclair, Weimann, Lowton, Gardner, Senderos...does Gabby need match practice? - he looked lacking when he came on, on Sat.
-
Gardner can't play. It's already been mentioned on several threads that none of the loanees are eligible due to them being on "rest of the season" loans, which expire on 30th June.
But yes, I'd be playing some of the fringers.....
-
Apart from Robinson who can play.
-
It certainly feels unusual to not be threating about relegation.
-
Spot on Dave. And that really is an amazing fact that this is the only home game we can relax in since 2011.
-
I also agree Dave rest some of our big players.
-
I agree with Darren and Dave.
-
I agree with Darren, Dave and Chris.
-
I think it is a good thing that we all agree.
-
I certainly wouldn't risk N'zogbia, he hasn't done his one exceptional performance per season yet.
-
I agree with Dave.
-
Was it our heaviest defeat since the Chelsea disaster? I can't remember if Arsenal beat us 4 or 5 nil this season. I think it's good to wipe these from the mind.
-
I agree with Chris when he agrees with Dave, who agrees with Chris, Darren and himself.

Agreed

It was 5.
I find it impossible to wipe such things from my mind. Wish I could.
Saturday stills hurts me to the core.
