No it was Cameron who got them mixed up. He described himself as a West ham fan in a speech.

The Lib Dems' 404 page is always a variation of this joke, so one suspects it was swiped by H&V...

Before the semi, on Twitter The FA had an interview with Joe Cole & they used a picture of him in a West Ham shirt. He's not played that much but I'm sure there must be one or two of him in a Villa shirt floating around they could have used.
