I don't wish to appear insensitive, but please. If you've lost people, keep them in your hearts and minds, not on flags.

There are so many supporters of a certain age who are desperate to see us win The Cup, for a myriad of reasons but not least as its become something of a holy grail in 'completing the set'.
Sadly a number of our loved ones and fellow Villa supporters who are no longer with us won't be there to witness something they were equally desperate to see. But to a man, woman and child they'll be with us, in our hearts and minds on 30th May.
I wonder if it would be an idea to mark their memory and have their spirit alongside us (and the team of course) by having their names on individual flags or boards? Maybe we could raise them in unison during Abide with Me?
If the idea has a bit of support then possibly we could get something made up and sell them at a small profit with a donation to Acorns?
What do you think?
good idea

I don't like it. Well-intentioned maybe but it should be a day for celebration (hopefully) rather than grieving.
By all means raise a glass or twelve to those you've lost once we've won.

Isn't that partly what "Holte Enders in the Sky" reminds us of anyway i.e. loved ones that are no longer with us?

Mawkish.
