Title: Semi-final ticket requests
Post by: dave.woodhall on March 18, 2015, 02:21:19 PM
In order to keep out touts and opposition supporters, but mainly because we're miserable bastards, keep all requests for tickets, references and everything else in this thread.

Regular posters and people known to us only.

I would be very grateful of a spare client reference for SF at Wembley.
I have 6 season tickets within our group, but need 1 further ticket.

If anyone can offer any help, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance, DD

I may be obliged to come with a begging bowl myself. I have been lazy this season and had friends get tickets for me, so have only booked 3 home games in my own name I reckon.

I may have to get the Chinese counterfeiters on to this one....

Both Pat and deasy92 have helped me out many times before so if anyone deserves a favour from the H&V crew it's those 2

I would also like help too if anyone can oblige . I should be ok on last day of sale but in case anyone can step in before then I'd be really greatful.

I have to also big up Deasy too, he's sorted out extra's for the Kingston Lions on many occasions and is worthy of the help.

If it helps anyone decide I work in Children's Services for a council, if anyone wants to put their kids in care I'll fast track them put them through Uni and give them back at 24.

I've been told I can't transfer reference numbers from tickets bought in my mate's name.We have both been to two FA Cup games but he has two refs and I have one.Do people agree with this ?

Not wanting to sound petty but how can a fan who has been to 3 cup games and 2 prem games get his ticket before someone who has been to 4 cup games but only 2 in my name and 10 prem games ????
Also can't use Qpr game in my history even though I have booked tickets and paid for them cause game hasn't been played before I apply.
Good luck to everyone though think I should be ok

I had a season ticket since around '78, and when my son was old enough he had one too, we both sat together in the Holte. I stopped buying a season ticket just before McLeish, but I still go to about 80% of the games because I, can't give the Villa up, and I've been to 8 games this season, but not one in the FA Cup.
I'm going to have to wait until the final date in April to see if I can get a ticket, so I'm not too hopeful.
Been to every Wembley appearance since the Chico final in 71, when Chivers ruined our day.
Any help/news would be appreciated on the ticket front, fellow Lions.

I've two mates who work as stewards, ones a bluenose the other a baggie.
They're unsure if they can get a ticket allocated as employees, but I have asked if they are would they be prepared to let their tickets go to a Villa fan.

Everyone who qualifies under the published criteria will get one. The club have already said there will be tickets available after the current final date.

It's very, very frustrating, as I've been put in the same boat as well, but in fairness the club do say to remember to assign a reference to each seat, and there was a big notice taped to the wall in the ticket office before the Albion tickets went on sale stating this. Can't say they haven't warned us.

So if anyone has 3 references going spare...

You're guaranteed a ticket mate. 5+ matches can buy on 9 April. Anyone who meets the criteria announced so far will get one. That's how I read it anyway.

Ive been bitten on the ass by frequently buying my brothers ST off him due to working away as well as buying tickets off other supporters  leaving me only one league and one cup game on my ref. I will be down there at 9am on the first available day to get one but should I fail im more than willing to pay well over the face value of a ticket (I havent seen Villa at embley since 96 due to living in Australia). Pm me when the time comes

may I be the first to ask for FA Cup final tickets? If we're going on a first come first served basis I'm just putting my name out there. Ta. One for my 5 yr old son would be great, too. And my 13 yr old nephew but that's a bit cheeky I reckon.

I've only ever really wanted the cup. I don't agree with the semi at Wembley so I'll save my begging for the final. Obviously I don't hold out any hope though.

OK, I'll post in here for what it is worth.

I was a season ticket holder from 1995 - 2012 when I had to give it up due to starting a family.  I now go when I can and have been to 4 games this season but no FA Cup games and don't meet any of the criteria.  I have posted on here for many years and even helped sell the fanzine outside the ground in about 2005/06.

If there is anyone with a spare (or two) I would most certainly be interested.

Thanks in advance.

You will almost certainly be fine for a ticket, the criteria will drop below 5 games soon and your 4 games will qualify.

Looks like you will be good to go Friday.

We can also confirm a new criteria for Friday, in addition to previously released dates.

Then, tickets become available to fans with a 4+ game booking history.

Quote
Ticket criteria for Villa v Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final changes again on Monday.

From 9am, they will be available to any supporter with a 3+ match 2014-15 season booking history.

Any remaining tickets for the Wembley encounter will then go on sale the following day to fans with a 2+ 2014-15 season booking history.

Please be aware that tickets will only be available in person from the Villa Village Ticket Office next week, subject to availability.

The Ticket Office will be open from 9am-6pm on Monday and Tuesday.

Tickets will be issued at time of purchase on a first-come first-served basis.

All those purchased before Monday will be delivered to supporters by Recorded Delivery.

The Ticket Office will be open this weekend on Saturday from 9am to 5pm.

Anyone with previous criteria eligibility can purchase their semi-final tickets then - as well as tickets for our home games with Everton and West Ham.

Please be aware that tickets for Wembley are not available from our Ticket Office at New Street.

I'd love to go but am resigning myself to watching it with a stack of bindipping gloryhunters in the pub. I shall have to watch my mouth, especially anything related to that king of all cnuts, Gerrard. They love him as much as I despise him. Still, I've been at Wembley every time since 75 so I guess it's other people's turn..

On reflection, one of both of those might be a sob story!

I am exiled in London and can't get there - would anyone be able to pick them up for m if they are in the area - i am sure i can sort something out whereby i can pay special delivery and buy you a drink or give you some petrol money extra to cover costs - if anyone can help out, please message me here (or david.sibley@hot*ail.co.uk)   Cheers.
