Spoke to ticket office today and I always book 3 tickets under my ref number for myself and my 2 kids both adults now for all the games we go to.
But they are only allowing me to purchase 1 ticket under my ref number so can book mine next weds but gotta wait till the Friday to book my son and daughters tickets.
Also told me none will go on general sale

Hello fellow villans. Can anyone help me? Tickets are on sale tomorrow but I unfortunately dont hold the required criteria. I have some booking history but not enough. I am hoping someone can purchase 2 tickets in the north stand (£15) for me. I have the cash ready. Thanks in advance :)

Hmmm

I believe I have a "varied" booking history, however my girlfriend is a season ticket holder. Is this game 1 ticket per season ticket holders? Or will I be able to use her reference to buy more than 1 ticket when it goes across the board?

The way it reads to me is, if you want to sit together you have to wait until the lowest priority person qualifies as each ticket will need to go on a reference. I could be wrong though.

Have been to two games this season, sadly they were both away so I fit into the varied history catagory.  Am starting to think it might be a long shot for me to go, but will keep my figures crossed ;)

Does anyone know whether season ticket holders can purchase additional tickets? ie for people with no client reference or booking history of their own? Cheers.

Im starting to get a bit concerned.  One home and one away for me.  I normally tend to go to more games towards the end of the season.  So I am slotted with those who who may have bought only one ticket in the last 10 years.  Im already travelling up to the Midlands that day as well.

As I'm slightly thick, can somebody confirm that this means I couldn't use my girlfriends season ticket reference to get me an extra ticket at this stage?

It reads to me that one ticket can be bought on the ST. Your ticket will have to be bought when you reach your criteria.

Thanks PWS

I always thought that for league games, ST holders could purchase extra tickets. I know people who haven't bought a ticket on their own reference this season, or don't have a client reference, who won't be able to go it would appear.

Any chance of two season ticket holders not going to this that would like to lend me their reference? Would be very much appreciated

Nice one!  If I get a ticket think I will go for the holte.  Atmosphere should be great.

Usual Villa shambles once there's a smell of success. I've been eligible to purchase a ticket for this game since 9.00 a.m. yesterday morning but the 'phone line has been engaged for two days and, having tried to purchase online, the computer is telling me:'WE'RE SORRY! Unfortunately, this time you don't have the correct privileges on your account to purchase tickets for this match. Why not return to ticket home and try another match?' All three home F.A. Cup purchases for rounds 3, 4 and 5 are registered on my season ticket profile, and the fact I've not missed a home F.A. Cup game since 22nd January, 1966 clearly doesn't count for anything either.

Looks like an early trip to Birmingham in the morning. >:(

That's incredibly shite BC54...
in a similar situation to you but no problem at all.

Have faith that they will sort it out...or get on to the big ST/ticket master.
With your history mate, you should be playing, not watching!

Cheers, FMWMU.

I've just copied and pasted my above comments into an email form on the official site and sent it off asking them to sort it, which I'm sure they will, but it's just so frustrating. I'd love to play but with my dodgy back, knees and feet I'd be moving even less than CB has in recent weeks. ;)

I'm getting the same. Odd, cos I wasn't yesterday. Would've booked, but my brother's not back off his hols til tomorrow night, and I suppose I'd best speak to him about whether he wants another trip to the cheap seats for this one.

I've had the same problems in the past and having spoken to the ticket office found out for unknown reasons I had 2 reference numbers and they had to rest my account. Hope they sort out payment for tickets online using Villa cash in future as that would save a lot of phone calls and pressure on the ticket office

No probs mate.
Could you manage to come on for Gabby after 60 mins and rampage at speed though the middle, at least twice? Offload to Gil/Benteke who score, obviously, but wallow in the appreciation they show for your miraculous approach work. Robbie Savage will draw attention to your efforts on MOTD and you will become the answer to England's "problem" - no pressure - and go on to lead Villa as they take over from Barcelona as the default for footballing brilliance and lead England as you win the World Cup singlehandedly.

Just a thought.
;-)

I ALWAYS do my ticket dealings over the phone with real people.
I often deal with a disabled fan's booking and the staff are incredibly helpful... depending upon the venue, and very positive.
I was very surprised, for instance, that my mate's disabled daughter's ticket at Chelsea was FREE. The booking chap wasn't sure, so asked me to be patient while he went away and checked. He did and she could go free. And my mate, as her carer, could go free too!
Brilliant!
But some clubs - eg: Liverpool - give no concessions at all!
Use the phone and talk to people....you can ask awkward questions and get answers to them!

UTV!

That happened to me when I tried booking Arsenal tickets online last month.  Luckily I got through on the phones quite easily.  Good luck.  The website is bit shite BTW.

I think the issue is viagogo if you buy a ticket via them it generates a new ref nr for you with the club. I had to ring and cleanse my profile down last year as I had quite a few ref nr's and needed to reset to my real ST ref

Oh right, thanks.  Have no idea if I have bought a ticket through them or not.  Think a couple of seasons ago I might have as I did buy one online, but can't say for sure who it was with.  Sometimes I just wish we could go back to just buying the damn things on over the phone!

You can put your own reference into your Viagogo account. Anything I buy on there goes on to my booking history.

My mate went to get his QF ticket from the shop in town on Saturday.  He had a 40 minute wait, due to there being one person manning the ticket kiosk.  On a Match day and with a big cup game upcoming.  Looks like we are already planning for life in the Championship.

That's because there is only one ticket machine there, which is all that's needed 99% of the time. I've bought tickets there loads of times and never had a wait of more than a few mins.

My wife was in a queue online from 9am today and I have 124 calls to the ticket office phone line from my mobile then I gave up trying to get my kids tickets. She gave up at 1pm I kid you not as online not taking my kids ref number on the website.
She finally got through via the phone line 3-30 pm. And got 2 tickets.
Why o why didn't I generate a ref number for them years ago could of got all 3 together when I got mine weds

Got me and VCTM jnr tickets online today - we both have booking refs. Tried to get an additional ticket for his mate but the system was having none of it - shame it was my opportunity to convert another scouser to the joys of being a villain (cue lots of comments about all scousers being villains anyhow :) )
Holte and North Stand all sold out - sitting in lower Witton for the first time since 1960`s !!!! - come to think of it the last time I sat there was probably for a shareholders meeting
