I think I may have made a word up.

i watched the Burnley - Baggies game and two things stood out, both of their squads are nowhere near as good as Villa and the second thing was they both showed a lot of spirit and wanted to win. There are Villa players that are just not hungy enough or angry enough. Benteke is a prime example, i cut him some slack because he has come back from a bad injury but that doesn't excuse the total lack of commitment he is showing, he is not running the lines. Gabby well what can you say if anyone should be putting in it's him but he is idle. I think i can see why Keane left.

Yes this is a worry.

Good article and spot on assessment.

Can I assume the word you made up was 'jubilation'? Think you will find it was used around Villa Park at various times in the past but certainly not in recent years. Good article Dave but all rather depressing.

Last paragraph the best, so jubilationary.

The squad is superior to the teams around us. Unfortunately the manager is not. The owners inability / unwillingness recognise this does not correspond with my idea of a "custodian" of the club.

Good read Dave.
