I would agree that Lambert has been successful in identifying decent players at a reasonable rate but that makes him more suitable for chief scout than manager, the best he could do is to leave Gabby and Weimann out of the squad altogether.

Yes it isn't working.

And quite right about Sinclair - we've had far too many of his ilk over the years. Far, far too many. One of them wasn't even ours and we paid £2m for the pleasure.
