My young lad is mascot tomorrow and am wondering if you can take your Digital SLR camera into the ground. Have a pocket camera but be better with the zoom lens I have with my DSLR. Don't want to carry it up there if they refuse it though.
Anyone else took one in to VP before?

Yup, you can. Technically, you should ask permission because the ground is privately owned, they are normally pretty good at letting these things slip by though.

I have taken a DSLR in with no problems. I guess if you take a professional body with an L lens and a laptop they might think otherwise.
-
yeah they will just warn you that you cannot take photos of players - as it infringes BPL copyright! No problems taking photos pre-match

That's going to be brilliant for your boy, he'll never forget it. If you don't mind me asking, did you have to pay? And do you get any free tickets? Have fun!

You can.

He's so excited. As long as you are a JV Life member (£19.99 a year) then you get drawn out of a hat to be mascot. You get two free tickets. My Nan, Grandad and Auntie have gone for a hospitality package too to see him.

My lad did it a few years ago Man City game. The club photographer will take lots of photos, which you can have for a small fee.IF it is still the same , the photographer will ask which 2 or 3 players he wants to have his picture taken with on the pitch.
