For me
Like to see a top ten finish and a cup run
Grealish and Gardner to establish themselves in the team
Lambert to play attacking football on a regular basis
-
Beat Man U. Whether this season or in the first half of next.
Beat somebody decent in the FA Cup. We've only knocked out two teams that have gone on to finish in the top nine in the league in my lifetime (once in the twenty-six years I've been attending games) which is utterly pathetic.
Win the Cup! Well, I can dream.
Sack the manager and appoint somebody to make the game sit up and take notice of us again.
Make a signing that gets people really excited about Villa.
Finish comfortably clear of relegation.
Blood a few youngsters. In particular Grealish.
Introduce tougher penalties for glory-hunting Man U fans in our stand such as death by firing squad and post-natal abortion for day-tripping Brummie Red offspring.
-
Win the FA Cup. Finish 7th/8th and then finish the same for the following couple of seasons. You know what happens next...
-
To carry on trying to play good attacking, possession based football and not regress back to what we have been exposed to for the past 2 years. If the players enjoy the "new style" keep playing it and buy players that are really good at it.
-
1. Win the FA Cup.
2. See 1.
-
Win the league and FA Cup.
-
This season top 10 and facup QF (min). Grealish and Robinson to flourish , Delph to sign a new deal .
-
1. Win the FA Cup.
2. See 1.
This with claret and blue Christmas baubles on.
-
I'd like there to be less to moan about.
-
Win the FA Cup
Don't have any late season relegation fears.
-
A glorious FA Cup victory at Wembley. Surely, not too much to ask for.
-
For Aston Villa FC to win the FA Cup again.
-
Get another season out of The Beast, and Delph signing a new contract.
-
Top half and the FA cup.
-
Randy Lerner to say, in clear simple language that he wants to continue to own the club. If he can't do that then he should come clean with us what is going on with his disposal of the club even if the answer is "nothing" that at least lets us the loyal fans know that we have to endure more limbo land.
Once the ownership hiatus is sorted we can rise again and win trophies like we used to do.
In short my 2015 wish is to see the For Sale sign taken out of the window.
-
Win the FA cup and Delph to sign a new deal.
-
Stay up. Get into Europe.
Hey it could happen!
-
To beat Man United again, which will happen in the FA Cup final in May 2015.
Merry Christmas my Villa brothers and sisters. Indulge today, you've earnt it.
-
Win the FA Cup so I've got the complete set in my lifetime.
-
I would like to see a winger with speed and skill, one that can cross a ball accurately. I know Lambert says wingers are outdated but what does he know? Apart from the word excellent he knows and does very little that makes sense.
-
Spiffing home form.
-
I hope they convince me to purchase a season ticket again.
-
1. FA Cup win.
2. Attractive attacking football.
3. To be so much in control of every game that the last 10 minutes feels like an exhibition match.
I'll just take no.1 tbh.
-
Not to score the least amount of goals in the league or our history. In short, not for Lambert to break any more unwanted records.
-
To be asked to watch us play Palace for £20 and have any kind of desire to say yes.
-
Randy Lerner to say, in clear simple language that he wants to continue to own the club.
Like the shunnamite, he won't.
-
Lambert gone . Goals and entertainment
Not too much to ask
-
A goal.
-
1. Win the FA Cup.
2. See 1.
Changed my mind.
1. Score a 'goal'.
2. Win a game.
3. Win the F.A. Cup.
-
Lambert gone - just that .
-
That someone comes up with and orchestrates a campaign against Lerner and Lambert that gets a similar exposure as the anti Ashley/Pardew one at Newcastle. It will probably be unsuccessful, but it least it will give the impression to the outside world that we've had enough, as opposed to meekly accepting what has become a deplorable situation.
-
A January signing of the Ashley Young 2008 variety
and rapido.
-
All hope is gone.
It's actually a song, maybe we could run out to it ringing in our ears?
-
All I want is Lambert gone. It's not the cause of our malaise, but by Christ, he's not helping.
-
A goal.
-
A new chairman and a new manager.
-
To beat lower league opposition in a cup competition.
-
Just read the last four posts and I think only Des has a realistic hope. Although even he might be waiting a while.
-
My hope is that once again lesser teams will swap ends after winning the toss so as to stop us from attacking the Holte End in the second half and disrupting us. It's quite embarrassing that of late that teams have stopped bothering with that choice.
