I said it in the match thread and I'll say it again.
From now on I'm calling him Darren "Large chips please" Broken.

Mods! Word filter???

I'm also taking a leaf out of Joking Ear's book and referring to Zogbia as Charles Insomnia from now on.

Bent, N'Zogbia and Weimann were all a waste of space yesterday.

That sub yesterday was similar to when we was winning at the Hawthorns when Reo-Coker was taken off and Pires was bough on by Gary McAlister, or Houllier - can't remember which. Dreadful.

Yeah I thought to myself that Sanchez was doing the kind of job Reo-Coker used to do - putting himself about and breaking up the play - before he got taken off for someone who doesn't defend, doesn't link play, doesn't hold up the ball and was clearly unfit.

In defence of Weimann, i'm not sure if it was part of the game plan but he played really deep at times last night.

Weiman must be covering a lot of miles during the game. Unfortunately most of that is in our own half and this will be "tactical". He can't be blamed for not getting into many scoring positions.

But look what happened when he did find himself in a good scoring position!

The 2014 Version of Why Didnt Barry Take The Penalty ?:

If we're talking hackneyed phrases on this site I'd go for 'Which game was/is/will be Lambert's Bolton moment?'

  Bolton, next season.

Sanchez was beginning to look leggy when he was subbed, he'd just given the ball away cheaply twice.  That, however, doesn't explain Bent coming on, surely Bacuna or Lowton would have been more in keeping with the way we were trying to play at that time?

Have to say that Weimann put in a shift last night.
Unfortunately, though, the two times  he needed to be on it, he wasn't  :'(

From now on? You're a bit late to that one!

richardson would have  been my choice of sub.

He'd already come on for N'Zogbia earlier though.

so, when Sanchez came off Grealish could have gone on to provide the attacking flair that Bent didn't, and Richardson could have dropped into a holding role.

Certainly sounds like a better option that the one we used.

I saw a thing in the mail yesterday about the crap attendence and this guy was saying that he couldn't understand the substitution of N'zogbia, I thought what game were you watching?

In defence of Bent, if he's overweight then that is the fault of the coaching staff and yes he does look like he can't be arsed but then who could blame him?

Andi defended well early in the game. However, that's not something that he should have to be concentrating on

Don't understand why being  overweight is the coaching staffs fault - he's a fantastically well paid sportsman, it's his job to stay fit and in good shape - and I can blame him if he can't be arsed - you owe it to your team mates alone to be arsed.
