1,800 allocation. Will this one be a sell out on a Monday night?

At £45 and £40 a ticket, i'd be surprised if it is.
-
It will sell out. Lots of cockney Villa.
-
£45 to sit in that shed?

Hope that wasn't aimed at me, because I live in Brighton!
Why am I not surprised that such a smug full of themselves money bags club as QPR are resorting to this. Shameful.

Resorting to what ?

Charging £45 to sit in a tin shed. There is more room in your avergae toilet cubicle than in the concourse.
I can't stand QPR and their financial cheating.
-
^ Charging £45 for a ticket. My point is you expect it from the big boys, and some fans are happy to pay to see their team against such clubs, but its getting to the point where that sort of price has become the norm no matter who we are playing.

For me, its easier to justify QPR charging £45 in their small stadium than a 'big' club doing the same in a large stadium.

From a business stand point yes, but realistically supporters are going to be more willing to spend that sort of money to see their side against one of the big clubs.

Wigan were happy enough to charge us £25 when they were in the Prem. £45 for a Monday night game on TV is a bit much.

You can't compare ticket prices in Wigan to those in that there London.

No but you should be able to is the point. Also a club like Wigan are in greater need of the cash than QPR. Here's hoping that Palace are more reasonable.
-
QPR will not be getting my £45 for a televised game...that is for sure.

Another fine point. I am weigning it up myself.

If anyone can help, we've got 2 tickets so far ( me and Pat McMahon) but we are desperate for another 2 refs if anyone can spare them?
There's only 300 tickets left out of the 1800 allocation, by the way
Thanks in advance!
-
Crikey they've gone quick!
I will ask around for you Chico.

I Have 4 referances with loads of aways if anyone needs them

Anybody have a spare reference for this? I already have one for myself but could do with an extra one for my old man. I would be eternally grateful! UTV

-
Got mine, train booked, can't wait!
UTV
Lamberts Claret and Blue Army!
-
need to wait to get home to book it now as I decided against bringing my wallet in to work. Agghhh. Mind you, if I can't get two in the Villa end I'm sure I can get two in their end easy enough.
-
I spoke yesterday and they had sold out (Villa end).

Hi guys. I'm a long time lurker from Australia here I've made the odd post but not in a long time! I'm going to be arriving in London the day of Villa vs QPR and was after some tickets (2 or 3) as I'm only in town for a week and wanted to catch a game. I've checked the Villa site and there's only restricted view seats left and at QPR restricted view means the game is pretty much un-watchable as half the pitch is obscured! So, I was wondering whether any of you fine folk know a way to get hold of some tickets in the away end with a proper view of the pitch. I'll just sit with the home supporters if I have to but that won't be much fun, not sure I'll be able to sit on my hands when we score!
Any advice would be really appreciated.
Cheers guys, UTV.
-
It's surprising how many people suddenly find the time to post on here again when they want something.
-
Apologies mate, I didn't mean any offence and wasn't asking for tickets, just some advice.
-
Tickets arrived today stating they're "restricted sight line" they were not advertised as such, yet all that are currently on sale are restricted view, I can feel a letter to QPR coming on.

Wankers!
Assume the price is lowered to account for the shite view? If not, why not?
After all the talk about ticket prices today and how we (The supporters of EPL teams) are routinely ripped off, I can only fully support a "strike" of supporters on a given day/days.
But I don't want to miss a game.... bastards have got us by the short and curlies ain't they...?

£45 for "gold" seating. Like you say until fans decide to go on strike and people like me continue to bend over and take it nothing will change.
-
Is one of those QPR tickets mine, King?

A couple of season's ago down there (the game where we drew 1-1, Bannan scored a penalty for us, which we couldn't see) we had an horrendous view in the far corner. We couldn't see the goal in front of us and the tickets were not marked restricted view, so we took pictures and complained. At first they refunded us £4 off each ticket but after insisting we were still not happy and numerous emails back and forth, they refunded us all our money back.

My tickets also have restricted sight line, despite not being sold as those. I'm in Row B.

Is one of those QPR tickets mine, King?
Oh yes.

Actually, I'm giving that ticket to Pat McMahon. We've got another 3 perfectly good tickets

I'll be sure to let him know.

Are there any seats in Loftus Road that aren't restricted view?
Mind you, at Palace away I couldn't see the top left corner of the pitch, which was probably a good thing in the end.
-
You'll probably get there and the "gold seating" will just be seats painted with gold paint. Facing away from the pitch.
-
It's such a poxy little dump.
The concourse is more remeniscent to when you used to make a tent out of your mom's clothes horse and a bed sheet, only that was probably roomier.
The two ends must be the most tiny and pointless two tier stands going.
-
It always reminds me of the old Subbuteo ground
-
I have two tickets available. I was really looking forward to going, but have got roped into a work thing. I am selling at face value £43 each. I work in Angel, Islington so you can pick up from there if you are interested (restricted view).
-
Has anyone actually received their tickets for this yet?!

Yep...arrived last week.
-
Oh balls
-
mine came in the week, too. Give them a call tom as they also bring tickets down with the club coaches and you cam pick them up at the ticket office at QPR.
-
2 tickets for tomorrow nights game. Yours if you can pick them up from Angel, Islington. Restricted view. No payment to me but you might like to make a donation to charity.
-
Hi mate, are these still available? Please call me on 07735627546 if they are, cheers!
-
Was replying to MarkeeeeBeee obviously, desperate to go, season ticket holder of 15 years, long time viewer of site first time poster, appreciate you don't like newbies requesting tickets but I really want to go.
-
Hi Southampton, I'm afraid it's gone now mate. One of my friends took them both.
-
Last minute request for two tickets for tonight... I'm in London and can pick up from anywhere within reason. Cheers
-
Hi All,
Any one know where villa fans are drinking before the game tonight?
Heard the o'neils close by is now shut down
Cheers
-
I'll be heading to Shepherds Bush in about half an hour. Decent enough for a pint.
