At £45 and £40 a ticket, i'd be surprised if it is.

Hope that wasn't aimed at me, because I live in Brighton!

Why am I not surprised that such a smug full of themselves money bags club as QPR are resorting to this.  Shameful.

Resorting to what ?

Charging £45 to sit in a tin shed. There is more room in your avergae toilet cubicle than in the concourse.

I can't stand QPR and their financial cheating.

^ Charging £45 for a ticket.  My point is you expect it from the big boys, and some fans are happy to pay to see their team against such clubs, but its getting to the point where that sort of price has become the norm no matter who we are playing.

For me, its easier to justify QPR charging £45 in their small stadium than a 'big' club doing the same in a large stadium.

From a business stand point yes, but realistically supporters are going to be more willing to spend that sort of money to see their side against one of the big clubs.

Wigan were happy enough to charge us £25 when they were in the Prem. £45 for a Monday night game on TV is a bit much.

You can't compare ticket prices in Wigan to those in that there London.

No but you should be able to is the point.  Also a club like Wigan are in greater need of the cash than QPR.  Here's hoping that Palace are more reasonable.

If anyone can help, we've got 2 tickets so far ( me and Pat McMahon) but we are desperate for another 2 refs if anyone can spare them?

There's only 300 tickets left out of the 1800 allocation, by the way

Thanks in advance!

Hi guys. I'm a long time lurker from Australia here I've made the odd post but not in a long time! I'm going to be arriving in London the day of Villa vs QPR and was after some tickets (2 or 3) as I'm only in town for a week and wanted to catch a game. I've checked the Villa site and there's only restricted view seats left and at QPR restricted view means the game is pretty much un-watchable as half the pitch is obscured! So, I was wondering whether any of you fine folk know a way to get hold of some tickets in the away end with a proper view of the pitch. I'll just sit with the home supporters if I have to but that won't be much fun, not sure I'll be able to sit on my hands when we score!

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers guys, UTV.

Tickets arrived today stating they're "restricted sight line" they were not advertised as such, yet all that are currently on sale are restricted view, I can feel a letter  to QPR coming on.

Wankers!
Assume the price is lowered to account for the shite view? If not, why not?

After all the talk about ticket prices today and how we (The supporters of EPL teams) are routinely ripped off, I can only fully support a "strike" of supporters on a given day/days.

But I don't want to miss a game.... bastards have got us by the short and curlies ain't they...?

£45 for "gold" seating. Like you say until fans decide to go on strike and people like me continue to bend over and take it nothing will change.

A couple of season's ago down there (the game where we drew 1-1, Bannan scored a penalty for us, which we couldn't see) we had an horrendous view in the far corner. We couldn't see the goal in front of us and the tickets were not marked restricted view, so we took pictures and complained. At first they refunded us £4 off each ticket but after insisting we were still not happy and numerous emails back and forth, they refunded us all our money back.

My tickets also have restricted sight line, despite not being sold as those.  I'm in Row B.

Are there any seats in Loftus Road that aren't restricted view?

Mind you, at Palace away I couldn't see the top left corner of the pitch, which was probably a good thing in the end.
Title: Re: QPR

You'll probably get there and the "gold seating" will just be seats painted with gold paint. Facing away from the pitch.

It's such a poxy little dump.

The concourse is more remeniscent to when you used to make a tent out of your mom's clothes horse and a bed sheet, only that was probably roomier.

The two ends must be the most tiny and pointless two tier stands going.
