Title: What happens to the old kit?
Post by: The Laughing Policeman on May 27, 2014, 10:27:33 AM: My 10 year old great nephew was asking me to take him to the new kit launch on June 14. When out of the blue he asked 'what do they do with the old kit?'
I told him it's something I'd never thought about, but I'd try to find out for him.
Thinking about it, even after the white tent sale there must be hundreds if not thousands of items left over.
So what does happen to the left over stock?
Is there a charity involved, is it recycled in some way or does it just go into a hole in the ground?

Came away with an old pair of Sylla's shorts for a fiver. What made me laugh was that most of what was left was XL or XXL with the number 29 on, which of course is Grant Holt's.

Post by: eamonn on May 27, 2014, 02:30:17 PM: I think there's a guy who posts on here who has donated a lot of Villa shirts to poor kids in parts of Africa and Asia. Not sure if that was done via the club though.
