Fifteen-year-old Austrian midfielder signs for Villa.

I enjoyed this bit:

"It was always my dream to play in England," he told Laola1.at.

"The fact that I'm now going there is just sensational and gorgeous of course."

He's obviously been to Birmingham before.

Wilkommen, Ames.

Is he Weimann's nephew?

Yep. Weimann's his uncle. Hitler was his grandfather and Conchita Wurst is his sister. It's only a little country, they're all related.

Yep. Weimann's his uncle. Hitler was his grandfather and Conchita Wurst is his sister. It's only a little country, they're all related.

He's also married to Josef Fritzl's sister, Amadeus Mozart.

He's got a brilliant name. I imagine him introducing himself like this:

Omerovic is a young Bosnian lad, asked the father-in-law if he'd heard of him (as an ex-Yugoslavian international he's quite clued up).  Apparently started as a centre back but tends to be deployed in midfield these days.  However he wasn't too forthcoming due to the fact the "little shit" chose to play for Austria.  No relation to Hitler or Weimann but he loves Wurst ;P

Good luck to the lad.  Hopefully he can do a little better than some of the other youngsters we have on our books ::)
