Wow. Two childhood hero's in one pic.
As well as having a really impressive name, being a great drummer and looking cool, Romeo Challenger did the bass voiced "come on little darling take my haaaaand" in Under the Moon Of Love.
Fantastic.

Thanks for including my fingers in the pic,
Love the Brian Little Q & A,
Car , Vauxhall Victor Estate !

Favourite Food: Roast beef and Yorkshite Pudding.
Good lad Brian, it was nearly always Steak and Chips in that category.
-
I always remember being mildly horrified when reading that George Berry's favorite food was curried goat.
-
Steak and chips was nearly always mentioned. Lager and lime, The Deer Hunter, Rod Stewart, Ford Capri's and Bo Derek tended to crop up regularly too.

Brazil 1970 team......smoking....long journeys home after an away defeat.....Dianna Ross....P.E. Teacher.... the man who hands out medals at wembley.....Ali
-
Favourite goal, Frank Worthington's for Bolton against Ipswich. Favourite way to relax, go for a meal.
Smoking was occasionally replaced by losing or rudeness/bad manners.

From what I remember from the early 80's, Favourite Singer(s): George Benson & Diana Ross. Favourite newspaper: The Sun.
Definitely Steak & Chips as favourite food.
-
Phil Collins and Lionel Ritchie used to crop up a lot in the eighties too. As did One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest and An Officer And A Gentleman. Also golf, both as a favourite pass time and an alternative career if they hadn't been a footballer.

Diana Ross? The Supreme girls were better. And of course we had Nina Carter and Jilly Johnson.

That's real down to earth stuff.

Didn't Nina Carter marry Rick Wakeman?

Why?
Well it was the 70s, spaghetti was a continental extravagance, the thought of catching a goat and putting it in a curry was as strange then as snail flavoured ice cream is now.
