The Robinson/Weimann comment was bang on .

I stopped going to the barber in Witton when I realised he was making money out of Villa fans.

Really? Weimann is hopeless but Robinson came on and did absolutely nothing. The ball just kept bouncing off him.

He was nervous and it showed with his first touch. But he was making runs that Weimann stopped making before the ink had dried on his new contract.

Yes, but Dave isn't wont to hyperbole just to make a point and Weimann did, in fairness, nearly snatch an equaliser at Palace last week.
-
Spot on cant disagree with that.

Agreed it was hardly inspiring from Robinson but let's be fair and say it was only 6 minutes. I couldn't help but think that in terms of a comparison the rousing reception Robinson received was the kind Weimann was getting 2 years ago. Let's hope Callum shows more than a season and a bit of half decent performances.

In terms of the article spot on. What a depressing end to the season this is, it feels like 2012 all over again.
-
Nothing to disagree with.

I agree. The only difference was the Villa fans actually gave encouragement to Robinson, whereas had it been anyone else, it would've been abuse.

So Callum Robinson did more in six minutes than Andi Weimann did in six weeks? Utter Tosh.

Yeah, nonsense.

I've come to prefer Andy Munro's match reports.

I certainly prefer their results to ours!

my point is Weimann should be nowhere near the first team at the moment and that includes gabby

What happens if Weimann goes near gabby? Is it like gremlins?
-
The weimann / Robinson comment gets my thumbs up and I enjoyed the topical analogy with the London Marathon finish .

David McCallum does more than Weimann.
