WTF?
That's bizarre

Happy days.
I want to get a full set of programmes from all our competitive European games home & away. Not missing many now. The Barcelona Super Cup away game is proving to be the holy grail. I was not sure it even existed, was advised on here a while back that there was a newspaper style programme issued. But no, a "proper" programme turned up on ebay a couple of weeks back. Sadly the bidding got a bit rich for me around the £50/60 mark.
Sold for £256 in the end!! So if you have one in your collection, probably worth a bit more than you thought.

Remember being at this game in the lower trinity. What a mental evening it was.

I was in the Holte and remember practically everyone in the Trinity rising to their feet in protest at all the Barcelona antics. They must have spent as much of the game standing up as I did.

Just to show anyone that Barcelona have not always played the beautiful game
-
Bernd Schuster - What a horrible bastard he was.
We could with someone like him.
-
Happy days indeed! We had the measure of Barca around this time. Don't suppose we'd ever get the ball off them now!
-
So we won the 1960-61 League Cup during the 1961-62 season, and the 1982 European Super Cup in 1983? That's strange.
Looking forward to 2013, pretty sure it's going to be Our Year For The Cup.
-
Went to the Barca museum at the Nou Camp a couple of years ago, funnily enough, couldnt find much reference to that game, not suprising seeing as they were an absolute fucking disgrace that night.
-
Just got out of my loft after 3 hours of looking for a family pic.
Found the pic after 10 minutes but came across my villa mementoes old cuttings and paper souvenirs from the mail and argus from 1970 part of which was the barca game in the 80s sat there with tears in my eyes when we ruled half the football world.
Just to let all those prats that wear barca shirts that they always didn't play the beautiful game.

A quote from my post" when we ruled half the footballing world".
Arsenal, Tottenham, man city, Everton just remember that we have done what you lot can only dream about.
And that's what you call a big club
