Anyone know who to contact at the club with regards trying to acquire a signed shirt for a charity raffle ? It's for an upcoming Charity gig in memory of a Villa supporter and to raise money for Compton Hospice
I'd try and go up Bodymoor and get it signed myself but you never know if they're training or even if you'll be allowed in (last year we couldn't even enter the front car park for example)
Any advice/help appreciated.

I'm guessing it is worth contacting Nicola Keye.
And no, i'm not the General!

Try Ken McNaught.

Hi there, you should contact the Club Secretary- Sharon Barnhurst, based at Bodymoor.
-
TRB, Do you happen to have an email address or telephone number for Sharon ?
PM if possible mate
Thanks Andy

The awful fact is, they wont give you one.
I have tried many times and the reasons are always the same.
they back their own charity partners etc etc etc

I'm not even asking for a freebie, I'm quite happy to buy the shirt of course. I thought i'd be able to email someone at the club but can't find an email address other than the bog standard one on the website
Bah,

Because so many of my relatives are/were Villa fans, we often used to get the players to sign a birthday card just by sending it to the club and asking nicely. Mind you, that's got to be over twenty years ago now.

The charity event that I wanted this for is tonight at the Robin 2 in Bilston. A gig in memory of a departed friend (Villa fan) and to raise money for Compton Hospice. It's the third year running and due to the hard work of his friends and family has helped raise over 5k for said cause so far.
Sadly, despite contacting Villa via general email and the one someone kindly provided me with on here I heard ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BACK. Not even a courteous reply saying sorry but we only support our own charity. NOTHING
I even offered to get down to BH with the shirt to get it signed. Nah, too much effort clearly. In contrast someones managed to get a fully signed matchday shirt off one of the Wolves players for the raffle. Oh well
Not impressed I have to say.

Why not just phone them rather than relying on a pot luck email?

Are you looking for the whole team to sign it or just any one player?
